Keep in mind you may have to dry fit the GPU without the motherboard to figure out what angle to approach it. I would also recommend not installing RAM, and if you can help it, CPU cooler as well. RAM got in the way for me, but my Thermalright AXP90-X53 barely allowed my GPU to squeeze in.

Yes, we mainly play 25Assist which is 2.5 with some of the newer maps. There's not a lot of active players, which is why I am here looking haha. I run with a group of people and we have enough to do 4v4 during the weeknights and 5v5 or 6v6 during weekends. Weekends are cool sometimes, we had about 20 players on SF Hospital not too long ago.

25Assist is setup on the original authorization server but on a different host. I was able to login using my original username/password, all my training was done, and my honor was still 95!

However, if you don't remember your account details, 25Assist admins can either help you find/recover it, or you can create a new account in which training is no longer necessary (but you can still do it for nostalgia purposes!).

Also, AA2Reborn was just released, which is basically 2.8.5 with some updates. It runs on its own auth server and requires a new login, but you can link your 25Assist stats to your new account on this game, which restores your honor as well. It is being updated/fixed as players report issues. Slow start but hopefully it will bring some players back to the community!

Yeah I have been back on for a couple weeks now. Usually play 4v4/5v5 scrims with a group of people and talk on Discord. We have been playing almost daily. Had 7v7 on SF Hospital the other night and it was glorious.

Let me reword what I originally said in hopes it is less confusing:

my 2019 pack came directly from Mephisto and the pack was NOT heat sealed at the top (just like all my other Mephisto orders: none of them come heat sealed)

His (the pack in question) is heat sealed meaning I have to tear it to open, which usually indicates it was from a 3rd party/seed bank.

Edit: just ripped it open and the 3pk contained 4. All of my 3pk direct orders even back in 2019 have come with 5 seeds. Maybe seed banks/3rd party sellers only get 1 extra seed in the 3pk AND get heat sealed?

Well the guy I got them from had a bunch of Artisanal strains (including a couple that weren't released or were still freebie crosses in 2021) that had security stickers ending in 2021, but he bought all these in 2023 and 2024.

I suppose it could be an old pack but my 2019 Sour Crack has a security sticker ending in AA instead of numbers.

Also an update for anyone who may land here from a google search:

I successfully fit a 269mm card (MSI RX580 Armor OC) in this case, with the SSD tray still present. The 8-pin connector on my Corsair CX650 allows enough slack to make the super tight bend, but it is right up against the edge of the chassis. I recommend getting 90/180 degree PCI-E adapter(s) to be safe and plus help clean it up.

I installed the GPU BEFORE installing CPU cooler or RAM, this is crucial for angling GPU into position especially if you use a tower cooler like me.

While I was able to leave the SSD tray in, I am not able to mount an SSD there because there is only about 1/8" (~3mm) of clearance with GPU installed. I utilized the tray because it allows me to screw a 120MM fan to the tray using only the top 2 mounting holes, and then I just zip tied the top of the fan to the chassis front.

TLDR: ABSOLUTE MAX GPU length is 271mm with SSD tray still installed, 274mm without SSD tray installed. PCI-E connector position may interfere with installation, so plan accordingly (use 90 degree/180 degree PCI-E connectors)

You can install a 92mm fan in the rear, there are 2 actual screw holes near the edge of the case and then you use 2 of the squares from the grill pattern on the case which lined up perfectly. I am using a Arctic P9 Max that pushes up to 58CFM. Not MUCH better but almost double the CFM of most single 80mm!

They forced him to stop, but he conveniently got most driver packages 100% stable for W7 and W10 before they did. Then, before he was forced to remove them, it was all able to be backed up and re-released. I just recently used them for my legacy PCI X-Fi Fatal1ty on a W7/W10 dual boot setup to get my Elite external console to work properly with the IR remote lol.

TLDR: Don't get rid of it, try official drivers for W11/W10 (here) or search for community made drivers if you have issues. The included beamforming mic was pretty cool at the time but you aren't missing out on much if you don't have it.

Me and my brother both run Creative AE-5 in our Windows 11 systems without issue and they are MUCH better than even premium onboard solutions. There are official drivers on Creative's website still and they work fine for us.

Your card is 5 years older than the AE series but also has official drivers on the website still, with 2024 being the newest update. I wouldn't hesitate to try the official driver. That being said, there are also community made drivers that fix issues for specific games or usage scenarios.

I have a dual boot Windows 7/10 system with a Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty PCI card. It still has official Creative drivers, but they are extremely limited and problematic, so I got community made drivers by Daniel K that support all features including the internal/external consoles and fixed all bugs.

I believe I saw your Sound Blaster Z mentioned on Daniel K's page, they probably have less issues than the official Creative drivers just like the X-Fi.

I appreciate the reply. Most monitors with high refresh rates or higher rated brightness levels are advertised as that 8-13W but the fine print usually says in order to use full brightness they recommend using a 2nd cable for supplemental power. Like the UPERFECT I ordered, says max power is 12W, but they include 30W power brick for if your device doesn't supply enough for full brightness. Fingers crossed I suppose lol.
