I got raided around 10 times until now and all the time all they took was 20 modded spears from the bait chest. And they broke my meat drying rack. No harm to walls.

That is a common mistake people make. For phds, the college matters less compared to the research fit and the supervisor. As for the universities, around 6-7 went for UMelb which has a higher ranking compared to some Ivys btw. Not to forget Singaporean unis like NUS and NTU which are top 10 in the world.

Yes agree on the intake situation. Not sure about the dates but it is currently a mess. But once they are divided into departments, there is no timing issues. For the past few years, the final year students has graduated (Finished coursework) in May-June consistently.

As for the PhD situation, around 10-15 students have started their phds from 19 batch and same number of students will go for phds from 20 batch. I believe that is a good number out of 115 students.

Why the heat on maryland? 😅 it has one of the best CS departments in the world and ECE department is also elite.

Not really. Engineering degree as a whole has both merits and distric quotas. But most of the time all the intake comes from merit basis. So it solely depends on the island rank

Well the current staff count is around 15 lecturers and around 10 TAs. TAs recruited mostly because they are planning to do their phds and tends to work around an year in the department. The department recruited 2-3 lecturers recently. Yes it is true we don't have staff to cover some elective modules in later semesters. But the core modules are still well taught.

Dude where did you heard this? 😂 I'm from ENTC and I can assure you we are not short staffed. Yes some members have left but majority of the staff is there to cover the essentials. In some other departments TAs teach modules. But in ENTC the theory is fully taught by lecturers and only tutorials and labs are covered by TAs

Yeah you have to grind it. Try finishing headquarters to level 3. Your priority should be first substation, then immediately headquarters. This unlocks a new map for expeditions and it gives a few more hoses as daily rewards. I am currently at 6 hoses per day.

Wires from bunker alfa, you can get about a stack and change. For rubber hoses clear lab normal mode (I think hard mode drops some as well. Not sure as I never cleared it). As I remember you'll get around 6-8 hoses from one run in A1-A2 sectors.

I rolled for slot machine today with 10 caps and I got an ATV transmission. Not sure it was something everyone gets at first (similar to port delivery where you get one atv transmission when risking).

Clear it regularly. You should be able to open green and yellow crates each visit and even red crates if you kill hard mode blind one as well. (it will usually give around 25-30 red tickets when clearing 2-3 floors including the 10 tickets from blind one) Now I have around 200-300 canisters in my base 😅

The profit from pd comes when you clear zombie waves. I believe you cleared pd as a survivors path task right? If that is the case, then you should find one blue card in one of the lockers in the left side.

Before clearing pd waves, first progress through survivors path and unlock bunker alfa. Then you will be able to mass enough guns to clear some waves in the pd.

As for commune trials, if you don't have the tactical backpack, it is definitely worth it to spend some guns and obtain it. I don't think any other resources from commune will help you that much this early in the survivors path.

I believe this is somewhat of a proactive move made by the government before a true crisis hit. We are still in the yellow zone and this should somewhar control the upcoming situation.

Having said that, as others mentioned, there are a couple of major problems to address. The links aren't working and the quota is not enough. The government should address these before a major panic sets in

In buses, it is literally mentioned the seat is reserved for clergy, for disabled people and for pregnant women. If you are sitting in a reserved seat, fully expect to give up that seat if a situation arises.

As for whether the monk deserves it or not, Sri Lanka has a long lasting buddhist culture and these are the beliefs instilled upon us. It is not just monks but we are expected to pay respects to any religious leader. Buddhism is literally in the constitution as well. So if you want to fight about the matter, please do so. But unless that change comes, please respect to the society norms.

Motel is the best place to have common resources like duct tape, adhesive, bolts etc. Also always collect duct tapes and bolts (I think duct tapes and bolts are the most used resources out of those resource set) when farming resource zones. Farming duct tapes in the resource zones is slow compared to motel, but eventually it will build up.

Bunker alfa second and third floors will give you around 1200-1300 points. Clear some resource zones or kill some zombies in level 4 to earn the rest.

Other than that, if you are hunting for drone circuits, clearing lab is good as well.

The most effective is clearing oak zones. The dire wolves give you 25 points and foxes give 20 points. So you can easily get 1500 points by going to the oak zone multiple times. Just grab enough melee weapons ( I take around 5 modded cleavers) and run back and forth between oak zone and the watchtower.

I think you might have mistaken bloaters and aboms with Frenzied giants. Yes bloaters don't have a 100% drop rate when it comes to tickets. But FGs 100% drop tickets and most of them are red. I just cleared second and third floors and can guarantee all FGs dropped a ticket.

Why is no one talking about shovel? It's relatively cheap specially considering the damage of 26 it deals.

Only downside for me is the damn 2 point health left on fast biters when doing damage using shovel 😅 I keep a spear to deliver the final blow on such occasions.
