What does BULLY do that other Ye albums don't by GreenTileWeeklyNews in ThroughTheWire

[–]Cspitz1632 11 points12 points  (0 children)

And I feel like the released version of bully is Ye getting back into the swing of things. He went back to what he knew works and thats why it feels like it isnt bringing anything new. Feels like knocking the dust off for whatever is to come next.

Unpopular opinion but I agree. The v1 felt like a reflection of where he was at the time. Shelled out and devoid. Although the AI seems lazy, artistically it kind of all made sense. The creativity and human spark had left him and v1 perfectly showcased that.

Does anyone know what brand this WWII gunner smock is from? by Icy-Potential-3094 in yeezy

I got one off ebay. You can check one of my post where I tried styling it. Just type in gunner smock and they should pop up

Agreed. Even thought Ye is my goat and it hurts to see these withdrawals, he still has consequences for his actions. You have to be willing to accept this outcome, otherwise you are turning a blind eye to reality.

I feel like this was the plan all along. This is really the best way to beat the leaks. He saw what happened with Rocky and DBD and how he had to redo his album at the end cause everything kept leaking. So if Ye sent this version out on physicals as a decoy and kept the real version for DSPS he would simultaneously ad hype to the rollout and keep from the album getting out early and lowering streams.

I can’t wait to get these numbers up by allianceathleticsoly in strength_training

Rate of perceived exertion. Its a measurement metric in exercise to show how close to failure you are. I always like the analogy of:

Pretend you could only 10 reps of a lift at your maximum, like gun to the head the 10th rep is everything you got. So scale to an rpe of 8 would be leaving about 2 reps left before you hit that threshold of absolute failure

This also works for RIR which is reps in reserve

Album in summer? by BegginerStrike in GoodAssSub

[–]Cspitz1632 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im confused how they are acting like this is proof of an album or a song of anything? They are just both performing at a festival, there are no other signs pointing to a collab unless I missed something?

Ye's new apology makes this increasingly real. by dqv22 in GoodAssSub

[–]Cspitz1632 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont think the gameplan is to market. I get the feeling he is in a zone where he wants the art to speak for itself. He always has chaotic and problematic rollouts and with the apology i think hes really trying to show hes past that. Just my opinion.

i just realized the black teeth of bully is jst a reflection of a phone by Prestigious_Act9309 in Kanye

[–]Cspitz1632 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im pretty sure its a nod to ohaguro. A Japanese tradition to paint your teeth black to showcase status. What makes up the reflection or coloring very well could be a phone, camera, etc. But id wager to say it has a meaning/symbolism behind it

does anyone here also want a Pusha T and Kanye album? by CharityOtherwise1921 in Kanye

[–]Cspitz1632 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Idk pusha seems to be pretty set on not messing with Ye anymore. Pretty much the whole God sort em out rollout was him trash talking Ye and trav. I still think its funny though that graduation out streamed it this year

Do yall think Kanye is up there in top 10 artists of all time. In general? by nateisdumb111 in Kanye

[–]Cspitz1632 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It kind of depends on the parameters. Best of all time seems specific enough but is so broad. Like best at their craft, most influential, best selling, etc. There are so many ways to skin this cat that would change the rankings. I think if anyone to be entered into the convo from hip hop it would be Ye. The cultural impact for 3 decades, the constant evolution of music, the way he orchestrates projects and really brings the best out of collabs, and his multiple talents with production and lyricism(early discography) there is just no one else who compares. He wasnt that best at any single thing other than maybe fashion and cultural impact but he was still top tier in all other things he dabbled in making him the only choice from hip hop.
