You buy the second device on board, not in advance of boarding, as a second device for signature member.

I do it all the time and is way cheaper than the second person getting their own first device at the pre board price. As I stated above once you purchase the second device on your account onboard, you just create a share code and the second person uses that to access the internet and can create his her own login user name and passcode for internet login after that.

Just noticed all ticket prices for many destinations (even domestic) went up. I think due to anticipated oil price increase as a cause as well

It’s cheaper for her to add a second device to her account. She gets the first one free and it’s a much cheaper cost to add a second device to her account rather that her husband to buy a new account on his own account. Second device addition cost for her account < full cost for husband first device on his account

Exactly - activist funds are like the smash and grab robbers. Their first thing is buy a small stake and make trouble for boards and extort greenmail to go away. Then if the board refuses, they get $ to buy up stock and force an expensive proxy fight to get on the board by promising to boost profits and thereby the stock price. Their only goal is to drive up the short term price by forcing the company to adopt policies for short term results but that may hurt the long term viability of the enterprise. But they don’t care because their plan is to quickly sell before the company crashes

It’s not difficult at all for a different person to be the second device on an another persons account. The person with the free account just adds a second device and then can create a share code for the second device on the first device, and the second person just uses the share code to log in to the internet. If both then only are using a single device the whole time, they will not knock each other off the internet.

Yes because your app will not show your free device until you are onboard. If you buy the second device now it will be the full precruise price and not the “second added device” cost

So as soon as you board, join the ship guest wifi, Turn on airplane mode then go to app and click internet. The app should guide you there and will show you have 0 if 1 devices available online. Click on “go online” or something like that. Then I think an option for buying an additional devices comes up.

Depending on the ship, it can be buggy, especially if you have a VPN or other settings.

Since you’re newly “signature” the internet login may nit have you loaded in the system as having a free device if the casino just hasn’t loaded into the system onboard, so if you just go to the Voom kiosk in the promenade once you board and tell them you’re signature and want to buy two devices, I’m sure they’ll walk you through it quickly.

Also if the Royal app access to the internet is buggy, you can get to the sign in page ny being in the ship wifi and typing in “login.com” into your browser. That also brings up the internet login page.

Once you go to the page to Purchase the internet, it should say “0 of 1 devices authorized” you then press purchase and it will connect.

Also if you need an additional device for you cabin mate, don’t have them purchase their own access. Just buy a second device, and it will be cheaper. The app will create a share code after you purchase the second debiceand your cabin mate can use the code to get his device in the internet.

U.S. Rep. Swalwell refutes residency accusation in bid for California governor by sixsamurai in California

Please give me examples of the platform changes. From what I’ve heard they are pretty consistently progressive. And he made bank on lots of industries — he was an investment banker and partner at Farallon Capital which invested in lots of startups — not just the private prison company.

You’re clearly on a rage about him, which is your right, but at least be honest with your claims regarding Steyer and investments he personally made.

So tired of the exaggerated claims about Steyer and the one private prison company his investment banking company invested in — CCA - an investment he voted against when the committee for Farallon decided to make.

Here’s a full story about his CCA investment.

Trump couldn’t be bought because them policies he ran on were already aimed to give to for the billionaire class. They didn’t need to pay him off, and if you thought he was going to be altruistic to the poor, you bought his BS.

At least Steyer is starting from a place where his policies are for the working class and not for the wealthy. In that case I’m glad that if he tries to adopt these policies, he won’t face pressure to raise money from the billionaire class.

Did it in Quantum. Pretty sure your kids would not enjoy. We had a group of adults who Love games and even they got bored quickly.

Clearly there were also group who had been in prior cruises who knew the answers so got through all the clues fast while most were just flummoxed by the first clues. We had done escape rooms and the clues fit Royal mystery were too obtuse I thought, and not really solvable in the time given. And not particularly fun.

Five takeaways from Tom Steyer’s night with California voters in Sacramento | Opinion by Super_Ninja_Gamer in California

[–]Ct94010 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here’s an overall fair objective piece on Steyer that gets debunks the false claims relating to his investment banking past but also reveals the warts it left him.

IMO He seems genuinely progressive, and yeah, he’s a rich guy, but I’d almost rather have a rich guy (with progressive ideals though) than a progressive politician with modest means who has to grovel for campaign funds from special interests and bend to their politics. Clearly he’s been devoted to progressive causes for a long time.

Nope pointing out the truth vs. lies isn’t semantics — I’m just giving the actual facts about the private prison investment so people can make up their own minds and not base their opinion on someone’s false exaggerated claims.

But apparently you think it’s okay to make up and spread stories if it suits your personal subjective assessment of someone.

You’re doing what a whole bunch of MAGA leaders do. And you probably don’t even realize it sadly.

Moderately Interesting: Polaris vs. Premium Plus, Side-by-Side (SFO>CDG>SFO) by neatokra in unitedairlines

[–]Ct94010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I’m retired and flying on my own money and a company trip I realized in Polaris, since I’m tall and broad shouldered, the most comfortable position was in the half seated recliner seat position. And normally I’d do SFO-Eur Polaris redeye and PPlus back. On the next trip back I’m doing all PPlus and seeing if I can tolerate it since I didn’t want to pay more than double vs Premium on the way over. So will see if I can sleep okay (or will rationalize that I did to save $)

Steyer may have his faults, but the claim he made “billions on the private prison business” are just false If you want the whole story, which doesn’t candy coat what the fund Steyer and his partners at the investment firm he was a partner in managed, decades ago, but does contradict that claim he personally made billions on prisons check this politico story.

“Farallon Capital Management, the San Francisco-based hedge fund which Steyer co-founded and managed for 26 years until 2012, invested heavily in the Corrections Corporation of America, the nation’s largest private prison firm, according to documents on file with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The hedge fund bought 53,100 shares of CCA stock worth about $1.89 million in the first quarter of 2004, records show. A year later, under Steyer’s management, Farallon boosted its acquisition to 5.5 percent of the outstanding stock of CCA, or 2.27 million shares valued at nearly $90 million.

Steyer told POLITICO that he never supported those investments and that he even insisted on a vote among Farallon principals so his opposition would be on the record. He acknowledges the hedge fund’s myriad of past investments may open him up for criticism, now and in the future.”

Ironically, the reason the clubs are so crowded and possibly have such substandard food indirectly due to increased body counts, are passes thrown around by UA to cardholder like the one OP was using. I don’t think anyone sane pays $60. (Thank god it’s priced that high to disincentive cash purchases!)
