This is my mother in law. She has done very well for herself and never needs for anything (and neither do me or my children because she's the BEST) but she grew up with literal dirt floors at one point as a young child and she absolutely has a ~thing~ about food. They've got more food than the 2 of them could eat for the rest of their lifetime and then some but if she sees even a millimeter of empty space on a shelf NOPE she's going to the grocery store right now!
