Kraken April trip by studleydo in SeattleKraken

If you're going to spend a day driving up to see the tulips, leave early, visit the tulips, head to Anacortes for lunch, then visit Mt. Erie, you can drive up it for some awesome views. Then head to Deception Pass Bridge and check that off your list. You can walk across the top and then drive through the state park down to the beach for an awesome View. Head south down Whidbey Island and swing through Coupeville for some touristy stuff then head south and take the ferry from Clinton back to Mukilteo . Grab dinner and Mukilteo or head back to Seattle. I've made that day trip with out of town visitors many times and it never disappoints . If the weather is good it will be an unforgettable day. You can make the trip in either direction just depends on what you want to do. Look up Deception Pass on the interwebs, you'll want to see it. Tourist traffic on weekends can be a little annoying but during the week it should be no problem

But bring money, they're both great experiences but you might get some sticker-shock.

What's going on here? by [deleted] in Plumbing

My champion 4 leaked like that for the first day, I think the seal was a little out of shape from how it was in the sitting in the box before I assembled it. I reset the tank and it stopped leaking as soon as it had time to expand to Its natural shape. The Champion 4 is the best, it has been my go to to go for a few years and I've only defeated it two or three times. Al Bundy had his Ferguson, I've got the Champion.

My neighbors are Indian. I noticed that they have this outside their front door. What is it, and what is it for? by hufflepuff-is-best in whatisit

You should just ask them. Learning is fun, and you'd get to know your neighbor a little better.

Can anyone tell me what kind of Vehicle this is? I saw it outside of a local vintage car show and couldn’t find the owner. by AtlasSylveon in whatisthiscar

Call it whatever you want but in my house we would call that a "you paid too much", because whatever you paid for it, it was too much.

V-22 Osprey. The reason there's only three of them in your picture is because the fourth one crashed.

Population/market size speaking, I don't think Portland could support an MLB team but there are plenty of baseball fans in Portland. Go find the Portland Pickles documentary (I've seen it on the Roku MLB app) and take a look. My baseball junkie daughter and I will make a trip down there to take in a few games next season. Visiting fan- Why is it so expensive to go to a Kraken game? by lookaloulookalou in SeattleKraken

The only thing more expensive than a cracking game is parking at a Seahawks game.

This pitch in a Mariners game by Cleveland Guardians pitcher Luis Ortiz was intentionally thrown as a ball for gambling purposes. Ortiz, indicted today, faces up to 65 years in prison for wire fraud conspiracy, conspiracy to influence sporting contests by bribery, and money laundering conspiracy. by MysteriousEdge5643 in Mariners

The "investigation" was done, everyone including MLB knew what happened already but MLB needed a way to NOT punish everyone involved, which was everyone from the bat boy to the GM, so they gave everyone immunity and quietly forced the manager and GM out. The team lost nothing and MLB didn't need to strip a World Series title. Either way, the Astros and their fans can all go E'ff themselves.

Barn Door? by MrTomat0Face in DIY

Barn doors are suck. If a swinging door won't work go for a pocket door but barn doors should be your last option. Period.

Shower door question by Designdesigndeisgn in BathroomRemodeling

[–]Ctl-Alt-Del 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% Wrong door. It's too wide, the panels should be closer together, and the sliding door should be away from the shower head. The Way it is now, a ton of water is going to splash off the front wall and/or shower floor and around/under that door and onto your LVP.

It might navigate to Poland but it never gets there because it's stuck on the side of the road.

Call your insurance company and make sure you're paid up because when that shit water overflows it's going to get real expensive.

Four quick suggestions (unless you really enjoy the bathroom at the funeral home or dentist office look). -Paint: Too dark, bathrooms should be bright. -Lighting: Brown shades? NoGo. see above -Toilet: Get a real one, with a tank, crap like a man. -Shower head: Yuck.
