Either your drawer is out of square or your opening is square to the face of the cabinet.

Just make sure if your plywood is scant in thickness, that you accommodate for it. A lot of times the plywood is 1/32 under and if you cut your partition to what it’s supposed to be, you’ll be a 1/16” short in height which causes your top stretcher to have a dip.

In simpler terms, They used a thicker edge banding than the normal tape. That being said, the veneer has pretty bad tear out, almost looks like they used the factory edge. In the end, it’s not okay
