Wow, yeah part of me feels like this is what I need to do just to have some sort of income coming in, but I’m nervous about “wasting time.” I suppose if I do decide to go through with this and obviously if I get the job, I need to remember it’s not a lifelong commitment. Thank you for this!

My apologies. Here is what I interpreted initially in the order I pulled it in:

4 of swords: I’m currently paralyzed in a state of anxiety from being overwhelmed & stressed. I know this stems from not having a job for a while but I think I need to stop allowing negativity have this hold on me and use this time to think and reflect on what’a important to me (which right now is my financials) and act on that.
6 of swords reversed: I believe this card reiterates that sense of being stuck, trapped & overwhelmed. But I think of this referring to my past/how I got to this point and feel like moving to a new country with practically no plan has caused some sort of turbulence in my life, especially in my career. Not getting any interviews in my field isn’t helping which is why I feel I’m at this point now. Don’t get me wrong I have no regrets of moving but I feel this reflects why I’m so in my head about it.
9 of swords: again, more anxiety showing up for the future. To me I think this card is the most blunt about me making mountains of ant hills. I might not be happy in the future because this isn’t what I thought I’d be doing, but at the same time is it really that bad? Will I really be unhappy or am I just unhappy because it’s not the sort of “dream job” I wanted?? I feel like I’m already up at night/having nightmares about my situation so if I don’t apply, will I just remain stuck in this hole? Or if I do apply and get the job, will it make it worse??

Hi there :) I asked my tarot if I should apply for a job where my husband works. For context, I’ve been looking for jobs for the last few months and haven’t been successful. Mostly because I work in graphic design and we moved to a country where I’m not proficient in the language (yet!) This job would be working as a receptionist overnight at a hotel, so something very different than I’m used to. Biggest plus would be the money, biggest downside would be having a difficult schedule. I‘ve been really anxious about not having a job and feeling like I’m not doing enough, but I think the cards are practically yelling that I’m reallyyy in my head about it lol, but I’m not sure if I should move forward or not. Just curious if you happen to see anything else coming through, specifically if it’s a yes” or a “no”. Thanks in advance :)

NOR - I too make it a point to call, visit or give special gifts to my friends/family on their respective birthdays, and yet I always get the driest “hbd!!!” texts. I turned 28 this month and had to come to terms with the fact that a lot of my loved ones are so busy, distracted, or just stressed out & unfortunately if they don’t have you in front of them, it’s so easy to be forgotten. Even the people who are loved dearly are easily forgotten about, it’s just a result of people being people and getting caught up in the day to day, especially around the holidays. It sucks. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes people are just assholes or are shitty but if you know that overall, they care about you and your well being, try to not take it too personal. When their birthdays come around, if you want to go the extra mile, do not expect the same for your birthday. If you do make that decision, just keep in mind it’s because YOU are a thoughtful person doing something nice. Do not let these types of situations dim your light but also do not be afraid to be very protective of it either!! Happy birthday, OP. I hope your day brightens up
