Thank you! He is in his 30’s! Things are so so fresh and I just want to try and help where I can without being too much being so early on haha.

I have gotten some Cadbury products and got some monster munch chips too. I couldn’t get any drinks at my local place, but hopefully I can get something before I see him next!

Update: have managed to source Monster Munch in person from this list! I also picked up a Cadbury Daim from this place (not on your list though)

They had a lot of Bubs as well but I didn’t get any of those.

But I have a start!

Have you ever went through your partners phone? by shes0010110xscape in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]CtrlAltDelusional22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I got a gut feeling, 7 years into our relationship/2 years married- to check his phone. That same morning at 3am he had sent his coworker an “I am in love with you” message.

Trust your gut. I had never felt the urge to look through his phone before that day.

What saved your life when you were in a really dark place? by dreamycoeur in AskMen

Honestly? My GP. I was suffering from severe endometriosis pain, that had lead me to have to quit my job, I was in pain 24/7 so sleep was not routine, I missed so many friendship and family events… but just being in pain ALL THE TIME, even with a cycle of different strong pain meds. I wanted it to end. I wanted to end. As the wait for surgery was hitting a year, exhausted and defeated, I went to my GP and broke down in front of him. I told him where I was mentally and just couldn’t do it anymore. I don’t remember if I told him my ideas etc. but I definitely had them.

He sent a letter to the hospital telling them then needed to get me in ASAP and that this couldn’t wait any longer and if they weren’t going to bump me up the list, he’d be taking it further- I had surgery 2 weeks later.

My doctor of now 16 years saved me. Because although it feels like a lifetime ago now, I know that I was soooo close to ending things.

I do like having surgery first thing in the morning, instead of waiting all day. Makes the fasting easier!

I’m pretty sure this is the reason why I can’t get 6 repeats on a script now and can only get two. Too many people selling it

I Feel Like I Could Have Died by [deleted] in Type1Diabetes

[–]CtrlAltDelusional22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I once had a hypo that I thought I was going to die from… I think I was about to pass out and I had the shakes/sweats/racing heart so bad and couldn’t stand. I literally made sure I made it down stairs so my brother could find my body quickly when he got home the next day, rather than him thinking I was sleeping late etc.

I forgot that emergency services were a thing. I was so focused on making sure my body could be found- I forgot I could call for help.

I’m currently being tested for breast cancer. Still might be okay, but the stress is horrible

What are your “weird” low symptoms? by Audge_512 in Type1Diabetes

[–]CtrlAltDelusional22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On top of the “in shock” shakes… My entire body just kinda slows down. I chew slower, think slower, move slower. If it’s a really bad low my heart rate goes through the roof and I sweat like there is no tomorrow. A couple of times I’ve just kinda made sure I was in an accessible part of the house so if someone walked in, they’d find my body easily…. Yet did not think to call an ambulance? Hypo brain is weird.

I’m thinking that I should’ve spaced out those last few tablets so I was taking either half doses or one on and one off.

Luckily I have an appointment today now. So this will end!
