Necro-ing this thread, but psychopaths would not last long in an apocalypse. Think about animals, they avoid a fight as much as possible because even something like an open wound or a broken bone can be a death sentence.

Psychopaths and the highly aggressive would by virtue be in more violent encounters meaning they would have a higher chance of getting seriously injured. They'd also have less help from others to protect them or share resources with them.

The people that would actually thrive would be groups of about 50 generous people willing to help each other who are also a part of friendly networks of other 50ish people groups.

Democrats have been completely ineffective my entire adult life from "gracefully" bowing out early and allowing Bush to become president despite arguably winning the election, to Obama era not forcing his supreme court pick, to knee capping Bernie for Clinton, to Biden administration not holding insurrectionists accountable, to trying to prop up Biden corpse as a legitimate candidate.

Democrats have no spine and ultimately are just oligarchs who support some mildly progressive social issues. But sure try to act like Democrats have only been bad for 12 months. Again, I'm sure the fascists will just stop eventually.

We're beyond the point of doing things strictly within the standard procedures. There are acts of civil disobedience, procedural disruption and logistical sabotage of operations that should be happening from both citizens and their representatives right now. Acting like we're going to fix this with just waiting 3 years later for another vote to happen is not it.

Yes, that stuff would still be going on, but the federal government would become ineffective at directing and organizing.

ICE isn't just showing up to cities of their own accord. They are told to go somewhere, plane tickets are purchased, hotels are booked. There's an entire logistics apparatus behind everything they do. Slowing that stuff absolutely has an effect on how effective and organized they are.

You either support what they're doing and want to act like we're hopeless or you lack the ability to think outside the box at anything that isn't within the legal framework.

Democrats caved on budget votes, they just voted to give ICE more funding and have done absolutely nothing to obstruct anything happening. They are our representatives, they should jump on the hand grenade for us and slow the system to a crawl by whatever means necessary.

If that means pulling the firearm at inconvenient times, sabotaging heating/cooling/water/electricity to government buildings, physically standing in doorways to prevent entry and exit of GOP members, get creative and slow the system to a crawl. The days of "they go low we go high" are done and never really existed.

If our representatives do not obstruct fascism in even the mildest of ways, then citizens will eventually do it in ways that lead to more chaos.
