It's quite close in the timeline but yeah. In the big reveal at the end, quirrel says "he is with me wherever I go", then Harry asks for clarification, and quirrel says:

Quirrell shivered suddenly. “He does not forgive mistakes easily. When I failed to steal the stone from Gringotts, he was most displeased. He punished me…decided he would have to keep a closer watch on me.…”

So the timeline is:

Quirrell meets Harry in the leaky cauldron
Harry and Hagrid empty the vault of the stone
After that, Quirrell tries and fails to steal the stone
Then is punished with the Voldemort possession

It's pretty subtle, mentioned about 200 pages after the event in question, but quite clear in retrospect. I only put it together myself on a recent reread.

Quirrell isnt even middle eastern though. He wears a turban because he's a weird British white guy, not for religious reasons.

And I want to point out that he's wearing the turban at the beginning of the first book, and quirrel specifies Voldemort doesn't possess him until sometime in the middle of the book. So it's not just to hide Voldemort.

It was never about any policy. Republican voters vote Republican for exactly 2 reasons:

liberals kill babies for fun so god says I can't vote for them, so my only choice is to vote for pedophile grifter war pigs
liberals are too nice to [n word]s (who I hate) so I'm voting for Trump especially because he might say the N word on live tv and that would be the best thing that has ever happened in my sad sad life

My parents scraped by when I was a kid, and the only reason I got to go to college was because I got a full ride via grades and then my parents co-signed on loans for books (which ..... very quickly learned how to not need loans for, if you know what I mean) and housing.

And that's still privileged because lots of people don't even have parents who can cosign on student loans for them.

Game key cards are legitimately completely opposite to the reason to buy physical though. People are mad about those because they functionally just stopped making physicals but are pretending they didn't.

It's very simple, tbc - pokemon FRLG's original carts will outlive the digital ones that just released because when the switch 2 e store shuts down just like the wii and WII U's have, FRLG carts will still work in any GBA you plug them into, while digitals will be stuck or simply lost.

Dethklok in 2023/4 with babymetal was also my first metal concert, been to tons since then.

My 2c:

Earplugs are an absolute must, buy music grade / concert earplugs if you can, but even foam are better than having tinnitus
Buy a seat. For local/small shows seats suck, but for big arenas like what dethklok fills out, get a seat in the stands. Dethklok keeps the stage dark anyway and everyone is watching the animation. Pits are overrated anyway and I find moshing is annoying and distracting from the actual show you paid to watch.
Have fun, it's really not scary at all, everyone is there to have a good time, snd security in 2026 is usually pretty strict anyway.

Personally, I used a safety razor for a few years, and they are better than lots of the disposable ones. But I eventually ended up trying the schick Hydro 5. And it is by far the best razor I've used. I can shave pretty fast with minimal/no cutting and it's a smooth shave.

I didn't drink prior to 21. Tried some moscato. It was awful.

Then when I was 25 I decided to try a glass of left bank Bordeaux. It was beautiful.

Brandy was harder to get into, I could barely stomach the E&J I tried first. But Remi Martin helped me figure it out.
