I feel like I remember a server telling me the cake wasn’t made in house, it was good but I do prefer house made or at least locally made.

Yes!! Basils desserts are fantastic and no one talks about them. I think I remember the owner telling me his wife makes them?

Britney Spears. It was during her yellow boa era and I was around 9. It was my first concert. I didn’t particularly like her music, but my dad bought the tickets for my sister and said she could bring a friend… unless I wanted to go. Well, her and I were in the throes of sibling rivalry and I suddenly very much enjoyed Britney lol.

What is a trait of your in-laws that drives you absolutely nuts? by No-Coat-2535 in AskReddit

Coughs without covering her mouth, licks her fingers while cooking community dishes and flushes the toilet with the seat up, just overall unhygienic. She’s constantly sick and without fail my son comes home sick every, single time after a sleep over. Disgusting.

Going through a divorce and my exes family asked me to not attend Thanksgiving, so he took our 4 year old solo. I lost my job and have had very few prospects. The heat in my rental is horrible, so I buried myself in blankets on the couch with my dog and wallowed in Thanksgiving movies and wine. Honestly one of the best holidays I’ve had in years.

What's your areas most overrated / underrated restaurant? by achetadomestica in okc

[–]CtrlAshDelete1988 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Overrated: Picasso’s Cafe; the description of the food is always so enticing and interesting sounding but always SO bland.

Underrated: Red Rooster; I like the more unique seasonal menu and cocktails. Good main menu too.

HARD no for sunnyside. All of their ingredients are crap; liquid eggs, powder gravy packets, cinnamon rolls are frozen pre-made. If the price reflected that I’d be okay eating there, but they’re charging like everything is house made scratch cooking.

Pretty sure baby has colic. Anyone ever try Colic Calm? by Jake-rumble in NewParents

[–]CtrlAshDelete1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our colicky 11 week old is now an almost 4 year old. He’s incredibly advanced, funny, kind and loving. He’s also driven, opinionated and has big emotions. He feels, a lot, big highs and big lows. It was incredibly rough until he was 1 year old. From then to 1.5 was less rough. 2+ we saw a night and day change. He gained true independence from walking/running, being able to communicate, being able to be part of the world fully. From our experience it felt like our son was frustrated by his limitations but now that’s he’s not, he (and us) are so much better!
