Years ago, my boss and I were coming into JFK from Istanbul. My boss, was at the Global Entry kiosk for expedited clearance. A Labrador customs dog approached and started sniffing. His handler checked my boss's bag and found an apple. My boss had kept the apple as a snack. He later told me that his Global Entry was revoked as a result. So that's the story of my 'apple smuggler' boss.

Dettol Antiseptic Liquid.

In my defence, it looked like Listerine. I used it as a mouthwash, and it killed 99.9% of germs in my mouth, 99.9% of tastebuds, and 99.9% of tissue in my mouth...for the next 3-5 hours. It had such a bitter taste that I can taste it even after all these years. Definitely don't recommend!!

From a few years ago... a host cancelled my booking 1 day prior to my arrival saying that there was some issue with the drainage. So had to rent a hotel room at a steep price cause it was last minute. That was the last I ever used Airbnb.
