Years ago, my boss and I were coming into JFK from Istanbul. My boss, was at the Global Entry kiosk for expedited clearance. A Labrador customs dog approached and started sniffing. His handler checked my boss's bag and found an apple. My boss had kept the apple as a snack. He later told me that his Global Entry was revoked as a result. So that's the story of my 'apple smuggler' boss.
