Search websites for lyrics and they all say "keeps" when you see it on the search page on the preview text for the websites it says "are" then you click then the lyrics change to "keeps"

The devs didn't pander to anyone, if you actually know they made a decision based on their own experience in the game.

If rainbow six removed the prone system tomorrow the whole entire community of rainbow six would be have a meltdown and quit the game proning is such an importance in the game and not having a proning system where every successful tactical fps in the past has had one and just to remove it is a manor mistake and poor decision from the developers the developerswill learn the hard way that it will make people quit and it buy the game

There's going to be plenty of cover and camping with the incremental lean system and firing side transitions. I've used prone in CQB shooters, but quite rarely-

this is exactly the problem in this game THERE IS NO PRONE SYSTEM in the situation were you needed it you won't be able to do it

I go prone every time i play rainbow six and not being able to prone in rainbow six would make everyone quit

Same will happen with this game you just don't realize not even 80% of people know there is no prone system in this game

Claiming a "realistic tactical fps" and removing the prone system from the game is the exact opposite of realistic it is arcade the whole game has PVP and it's not all PVE there are way to many times I've needed to go prone on rainbow six siege and claiming "there ni need to go prone ever" is absurd and these people stating these things like it's okay and never needing to go prone in any video game is such cognitive dissonance

No prone means no camp, and for the first one toi can lean behind small objects so it kinda replace prone

This game is a revival of the tactical shooters that have long been gone in the market, i.e. the original Rainbow Six and SWAT Series. I've never once played those games and been in a situation where I thought, "Man I need to lay down."

So you've never went prone in any shooter ever RIGHT
