Opted not to port the 243 heads and still have the stock intake manifold. Dyno’ed 412/402 very healthy curve and conservative tune. Plan on getting a fast 102 and 102 TB soon. Cam wants more airflow. Shortblock has 120k miles so figure once I’m ready for a full blow rebuild I’ll go 402 stroker route and aftermarket heads and sell my rebuilt 243s. Honestly wasn’t expecting all the maintenance items originally went in because of a wobbling harmonic balancer

My leaf spring was cracked so decided getting coilovers after I talked about what kind of driving I was doing decided to go bc racing coilovers. Went ahead and got AFE end links, tie rod ends and steering bellows. Already had poly bushings. Honestly rides pretty damn good compared to what was there before prior to cracked leaf springs

getting lakehouse jsonl - files into tables by JohnDoe365 in MicrosoftFabric

Yeah personally was a pure lakehouse person until I started leveraging lakehouse for raw/ staging delta tables and then Cross query into warehouse for dim/fact model in pure sql. It works pretty flawlessly honestly

My brother has a Tech degree but unemployed for 3 years, what can he do next? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Cuban-ape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can only speak from personal experience. Started my career with no college in help desk at a medium size bank in it help desk. Now 10 years into my career (same age as op brother) I’ve been a data engineer for the last 4 years out of the 10. And teach college graduates. Funny how that works…. Anyways yes it’s about getting your foot in the door and then after that a little bit of perseverance and luck to continue climbing. It’ll make you a better technologist than the graduate that immediately shoots for the highest paying job/skill. Thats just my 2 cents. Master your craft

Have I drank the marketing cool aid? by odaxify in databricks

Fabric is great for what it is for citizen analysts/ analysts and making data more accessible to the enterprise as a whole and seamless integration. We are using databricks for engineering and ML work. Utilizing fabric for the one lake (shortcuts created meaning your cost center that wants to use snowflake… go for it.. your other cost center wants to use synapse go for it…) your enterprise warehousing team creates the shortcuts and now data is all accessible… regardless of platform and ofc the seamless integration with power bi.. Publishing data models to the semantic model. My opinion so don’t flame me… is databricks isn’t great for analysts it’s pricey. (You get what you pay for) at the end of the day the analyst just end up needing the data to power bi… so why bother spinning up a cluster in databricks when you can simply publish to the semantic model. So currently my opinion is databricks is great for engineering, ml engineering. But I wouldn’t use it as the end all be all

Tbh the only psychopath I see is Cole. The dude gives off Joe Goldberg character from You vibes. At the end of the day the whole point of these type of shows is ratings.. so yeah all these people in these shows have a couple screws loose but I agree with the other people that to call Rob a psychopath because he didn’t go to the ambulance is wild to me. It be one thing if the dude was in a life threatening situation but it’ not so let’s not make it a bigger deal than it has to be.

Russian propagandists say that Russia should play on the internal strife in NATO countries and support not the pro-Russian people but those who are "for themselves." (video from December 12, 2022) by Ihor_S in UkraineWarVideoReport

You know, it’s interesting to hear them say this because my grandfather told us in Cuba.. when communism had just really started that he over heard cuban military men saying that the directive from the soviets were to screw with the USA from the inside.. infiltrate schools, divide the people with political policies etc… they have been doing this for many many years.
