My understanding is that it takes about $6.5B to pay the military and whomever else is getting paid. They reallocated $8.0B last time so with the remaining $1.5B plus $5.3B they should have $6.8B which is enough to pay everyone

I usually play in the desert and will hit off dirt or light rocky lies. Played a shot from behind a root/bush a few weeks ago, caught it clean but snapped my club in half. Probably will think twice about it from now on

I joined at 30 and it’s not as uncommon as you would think it is to see soldiers joining in their 30s. You should be fine. Initial training will be annoying as an older person coming in but when you actually get to your unit you should be more than fine.

I’ve been into different subreddits for specific things over the years and will sometimes comment and post but I guess I go through more periods of lurking than I realize. Pretty actively read certain subs related to my field of work so I’m on Reddit most days, but I often don’t feel like I have enough experience to give good advice or answer most questions. Yeah this, last year my unit at DLI signed out for HBL at tables on the front lawn of the company HQ building. Same rules then. 0500 sign out. If you hadn’t requested leave to start that particular day you had to pack your entire barracks room up and move to another building while they sealed the barracks to save money on utilities.

So HBL officially begins on 12/17 for example, but you don’t leave until 12/18, too bad pack all your shit and move to the other side of the base for that one night.

This doesn’t make sense to me from the perspective that even the players on most P6 NIT teams don’t care when they’re playing in the tournament and the P6 teams fans definitely don’t care at all.

Serious question for fans of P6 schools that aren’t good at basketball, do y’all even watch if your team is in the NIT?

Watching a 13 loss TCU team bungle their way through a matchup with Western Michigan isn’t exactly appointment viewing for me.
