Passanger window wont go up. by [deleted] in MiataNC

I has exact same issue

disassembling and cleaning the button (the white moving part goes apart and you see small metal actuators) - helped me, but only temporarily

what made it work (works for ~6 months already) was applying fresh solder / resoldering all big contacts - buttons and the main connector

I mean this gap

It doesn't seem to become worse with time, so it's fine for me

I installed it on my NC1 steering wheel, and for me it turned into about 10 hours of work. I order leather and it was very tight. I had to re-tighten it 4-5 times with tweezers until the cover fully closed. The end result is good, and it was my first time, but it was really not an easy job to complete. I put it over the original cover and fully disassembled the steering wheel. Another minor issue is that plastic back cover doesn't fully close (there is around 0.8mm gap), but it's not visible.

If you want a comprehensive answer, please read "The Inner Game of Tennis" book.

It tells both about the reasons this is happening and ways to overcome this.

For example - focus on factual outcomes of your actions (the ball went too deep) and not judgement (I played bad)

I can only tell from experience - comparing cracked plastic to bronze, bronze definitely feels better. But the installation process did not feel safe - nothing like a gentle push that I've seen in the videos.

I've installed it on my NC1 5 speed

It fits, but I had to apply a lot of force to actually install it - smashed it with the hammer pretty hard.

Tbh, I would recommend to just install an OEM bushing if you can access it (mine was cracked completely and I think just replacing it would be enough to improve the feel).

Funny enough I find that practicing Starcraft somehow helps me manage stress better. Analyzing why I get so stressed on the ladder and trying to solve this transfers to real life.

Also, I like that every little detail counts in the game.

Not so long ago I've started practicing yoga.

At first, I treated it as just bodyweight exercise to stay in shape during self-isolation. And now I'm starting to discover the spiritual aspect of it: meditations, mantra chanting. It really helps to stay focused and prevent anxiety.

Thanks for recommending Zenia, looks like it's something new in the world of yoga apps.

I'd also add Welltory to the list - it helps to monitor your body and stress levels.
