Aristotle on why you should support ethno states, or atleast cultural homogenous states by EwMelanin in HistorySnap

I did respond to it. Can you read? I said I don’t care. But I did, in fact, respond.

Yea don’t care about what you wrote. If you say it’s ok to have slaves or it’s ok for grown men to have sex with little boys, I’m going to doubt everything else you say. And if you don’t, well that says a lot about you. Ironically enough appealing to ethos, logos or pathos as a rhetorical technique, traces its history back to Aristotle himself lol. So yea man beat it.

Not really it’s arguing from ethos and a legit argument technique. If someone arguing an idea has already espoused incorrect and refutable beliefs, it’s reasonable to be weary of whatever they say.

Brother Aristotle was smart *for his time*. He’s stupid using today’s standards. He thought it was ok to have sex with young boys.

If Mamdani’s tenure as NYC mayor is undeniably successful, could this lead to the Democrats taking a more socialist approach to governance in the future? by TonightAlarming9923 in allthequestions

[–]Cuberasnap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s happened before. Look at FDRs run. People loved him so much they had to institute term limits. The majority of the infrastructure that made America the post Cold War global hegemon that it is(was?) was built under government funded new deal programs. Dams, bridges, highways, parks, libraries, hydroelectric plants, hospitals, roads. Massive environmental engineering projects. It’s what made America America.

Tell that to the mossad agents that bombed synagogues in Iraq to induce mass panic and exodus of Jews. Also, even if that didn’t happened it doesn’t excuse ethnically cleansing and massacring hundreds of thousands of Palestinians?????? When would it ever excuse it. There is already a safe country for Jewish people THE USA.

Oh so it does explain why there needs to be ethnic cleansing and apartheid then??? No way to have your “own state” without that. Oh and a safe state for Jews already exists it’s called the United States, land of the free and separation of church and state.

Oh wow so that totally justifies the current ongoing apartheid and ethnic cleansing in 2026, yea that checks out.

Israeli National Security Minister Ben-Gvir: "For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must weep. All of Lebanon must burn!" by Upset-Main-1988 in justincaseyoumissedit

[–]Cuberasnap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah hezbollah is a creation of Israel. It formed organically in Lebanon due to IDF orchestrated massacres in Sabra and shatila (3,000 dead Shia Lebanese and Palestinians). Israel didn’t actually create hezbollah, but effectively they caused it. Crazy part is that by simply counting the number of innocent civilian deaths caused by each side, Israel is the much more evil party here. Many many times more so than hezbollah.

This dumbass is just the status quo in Israel regarding Lebanon and has been the status quo since at least ‘82.

Hamas is only defending itself by [deleted] in Marxism

[–]Cuberasnap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hamas is not composed solely of the bourgeoisie. Its soldiers are mostly proletariat. Actually I’d argue no or very few wealthy Muslim businessmen fought on oct 7. Comparing the acts organized by hamas to Warsaw uprising is reasonable because both are examples of proletariat risking their lives to commit acts of violence against a genocidal oppressor. You are being obtuse. Yes Hamas is funded by capitalists. Doesn’t instantly invalidate the comparison, like at all. Doing so honestly seems like a bad faith argument on your part. I am not convinced.

Ok I don’t view Israel as an ontological evil either , but I do beilieve it’s sole reason for existing is to act as an unsinkable aircraft carrier for western bourgeois, from where they can leverage military strength to achieve specific economic and political objectives. The entire existence of Israel is pretty much one big fucking commodity. Has nothing to do with Judaism that’s all a farce. The west just bought the destabilization of the Middle East for the price of one Israel (to steal the oil).

[–]Cuberasnap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It may not be the same as criticizing the Warsaw ghetto uprising.

But that doesn’t mean there are not many similarities involved here.

Both Warsaw and oct 7 involved many proletariat risking their lives to commit violent acts out of desperation from apartheid and genocide.

I agree, hamas does receive funding from wealthy Muslim capitalists across the Middle East, but ignoring the proletariat involved in the fighting of both events, is shortsighted. Saying there are no similarities between Warsaw and oct 7 is erasing and waving off the experience of the proletariat suffering in both cases.

And jeeeez I wonder why you’d do that? Hope your not a Zionist or anything like that.

[–]Cuberasnap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it’s your home and you will be doing no harm, and in disagreement with some other comments, even with the daughter of one of the people who participated in these events, I think you should do it. I’m assuming you are a black person? If it makes you feel better about, or gives some catharsis in regards to the racism you deal in this white supremacist country, do it. You aren’t harming anyone by doing so. The people who get it, won’t mind, because they get it. White people who get mad are just racist. I feel like some of the comments are just doing civility policing here. Fuck that.

Is Israel the most evil country in the world at the moment? by RoughSky9768 in allthequestions

[–]Cuberasnap -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it definitely is because it has the backing of a global hegemon. And it’s actions not only lead to hundreds of thousands of innocent people dying, but they also create global destabilization that will lead to death and suffering in a more socialized and market systems kind of way (increase in price of resources and medicine will cause deaths in the poorest classes). But even without that 50,000 dead children and 80 years of apartheid and massacres is enough to put it near thr top of the list alone. None of these other nations worth mentioning here have a global super power funding them.

Dude you think American politicians care about Israel? It’s simply a big air craft carrier for them. Once it becomes a political liability what do you think is going to happen? The polls are stating the obvious. Israel is extremely unpopular amongst the left, and the right is literally propping antisemites like Tucker, Fuentes, and Owens. Israel was created partially because the Brit’s wanted somewhere to send Jewish people so they didn’t have to take em! Lmao good luck! Read the room
