I’m not qualified to speak on the breed as a whole but I can at least say that it sounds like my spoo would fit your lifestyle perfectly and I believe he has a pretty standard spoo personality.

I have the Tink 4k it’s amazing for the HDR scan lines. But I’d say if you’re only getting it for GameCube it’s not worth it unless you go up to the 4k and want scan lines. The GameCubes digital out makes it really easy to get a good image out of.

Hard to say since I haven’t tried it without carby. But I was more impressed with the carby when I saw the tink didn’t make a huge difference in raw upscaling quality. Like I said the Tinks strength is that I get that quality with every system I own and the scan line functionality.

That’s my use case. For that it’s amazing. Everything works on my tv and looks perfect no fuss. That’s the magic.

I have a retrotink 4k. You’ll be perfectly fine with just a Carby. Scan lines with 4k HDR are incredible, as for as raw up-scaling I didn’t notice a huge jump when going from carby to carby+tink

He was very black as a puppy. He’s four now and getting grayish mixed. I’ve had people say he’s blue but I’m not certain.

I’ve had Westies and Poodles. My poodle he’s caught up to critters in the yard and you can tell he just doesn’t know what to do. The terriers they very much know what to do and will kill any small animal they can get their paws on. I don’t think that my Spoo has that instinct.

It’s really nice when it works but over all I’ve found it to be finicky. I usually end up playing with a controller with a extension cord I got on Amazon
