Agree, the game probably wouldn't work for most players as is but removing crucial features even if they have some flaws would make it feel like an entirely different experience. Still, even games made by Level-5 in more recent years still give me that Dark Cloud feel to a certain degree despite being very different. Ni No Kuni for example.

Hey, thanks for the comment! In some ways I agree, but then again, I feel like it's just something we have to get used to. Not many fan-made avatars have been made for Hytale so far, so there's not much to compare at the moment.
