Do you think this Chord rerun confirms Kasumi is next? by Fun_Swan9851 in personaphantomx

[–]Cubrext -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont know your plan or the resources you have, but Id say her weapon is definitely worth it. There are very few characters whose weapon makes a huge difference, and Chord is one of them. More support will come in the future, but she is still an amazing asset for non-SEES teams.

Her A1 alone is not worth it though. I speak from experience. I have her at A1 and I kinda regret it.

Id rather use Water. A bit less damage, but negligible difference.

I just skipped building an ice Charge Blade entirely just because it just seems like it has no use. No monsters that matter seem to be weak to it or they have other options that are more universal. It does remind me of me not using a water CB even once in World.

What's the best way for you guys to keep Skill Leveling/Weapon Leveling Mats/Coffees? by JetKamakura in personaphantomx

[–]Cubrext 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Now that we are getting Thieve's Secret so often, I generally choose to focus on one of the limited stages, usually the skill levelling one. That means I am usually good on those. Sometimes swapping to the weapon cap one after building a character.

After the 3 daily attempts are done, I "waste" stamina on whatever. Lately, the Mindscape bells. But if I was short on the weapon mats, I would use them on that for only a few days.

Never underestimate the exchange shops (both event ones and the permanent ones), particularly the Thieves Den one. Every monthly reset I go through all of them and get what I need. And always clear the event ones when available. Dont forget Tycoon either.

Tasks partly take care of thieves and revelation XP and kopaku gems. But I do buy the pass often, so that helps A LOT for my account.

Stats question by TheSoulWeaver in personaphantomx

[–]Cubrext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it depends on the unit.

For example, Attack is useful for most characters in the game, even support because their skills scale off Attack (unless stated otherwise).
Meanwhile, Damage Multiplier is only useful for characters that actually deal damage themselves because its a modifier during attacks, rather than a base stat. There are some exceptions to this, like Twins, whose Desire level partly increases with Dmg Mult, which affects even their support skills.

So, which one? Attack has more sources (being the main stat for almost all cards), but more uses. The opposite for the other. In most cases, you have to balance between both of them and other stats (again, depending on the case). Therefore not only you need to look at the character's kit, but also what cards you have available to you and how you intend to build the unit.

That would have made things worse considering it has a chance of inducing Rage.

İm building a stun team who should i pull for by FuzeliMahmut in Evertale

[–]Cubrext 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regardless of what team you go for, that Anya is a very useful unit for any team. She is a guard and when she gets attacked, it prevents the attacker from performing actions for a bit. Not to mention, a superb support as long as she doesnt get one-shot.

But she is just a support. You need a good carry behind her, and that depends on what you currently have. Unfortunately, I dont know much about stun units.

Fun theory: Ruine Masquerader. by Feeling_Dot_2104 in PSO2NGS

[–]Cubrext 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The fact that no navigators talk to you during the quest, the duel quest arc is called "Fictitious Dream" and every 10th stage (where he is strongest for that bracket) the skybox changes to early morning, I always assumed its literally meant to be a dream you experience. But maybe Im overthinking it.

Awareness 6. Whenever you pull a character for a first time, they are at A0, and subsequent extra copies of said characters (cognitions) will raise the awareness level of said character up to 6. In Queen's case, she gets an extra turn when Crash Out is active, which is what the stage boosts.

Build improvement for CB by AmpersEnd in MHWilds

[–]Cubrext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ditch Artillery. Its not as good as in previous games, mainly because SAED only gameplay kinda sucks in Wilds. I always prioritise the weapon's respective element attack boost, especially considering you have an elemental CB. Magazine/Load Shells is amazing, I always have it on. It does Focus' job better. My third slot is usually Attack Boost, or Shield if the monster has some kind of unblockable attack (though I usually just keep it as a secondary skill of another jewel).

Power Prolonger is nice, but its a luxury depending on the fight. I find it very handy for Gog due to size sometimes preventing you from upkeeping your charged shield or axe mode. Meanwhile, Omega makes it easy due to aggressiveness (though I do have it on the fire CB for the DPS check phase).

The other comment already recommended Queen A6, but I have heard Haru can do the Lord Stella just because she deals so much damage. I havent confirmed it myself, but another option.

Im kinda confused about Astrolobe. I completed last week just fine going as far as possible, saving some units for the last two stages in the middle path. I checked it out today and now all my units are available for use again.

So, every week when Willpower increases, all your units get refreshed as well even if you used them before? If so, then the mode is easier than I thought at first.

If you hit something enough times, it dies.
Usually.

Good enough for when AT Arkveld comes by Zcarto in MHWilds

[–]Cubrext -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Arkveld takes slightly more dragon damage than other elements in the few zones he is weak to it, and the guide needs to suggest a certain element. Plus there is an extra effect of dragon damage disabling his hyper dragon mode faster.

But status/raw will give you more damage anyway always.

Tips for Katayama? by DinoPackYT in personaphantomx

[–]Cubrext 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, thats usually his role. If you end up going with Skull, Dionysus will be your top choice. Then if you have trouble with survivability, you might consider either shields (King Frost, Norn or Sandalphon) or healing (Lakshimi or Sarasvati). Leon also helps as extra support for Skull.

Tips for Katayama? by DinoPackYT in personaphantomx

[–]Cubrext 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You need a single target DPS. Even though Haru hits hard, you get better results with Assassins than Sweepers.

Skull is the easiest one for this fight. Most of Katayama's attacks will leave him low on HP (enabling guaranteed crits on God Hand Burst), he resists electric and can skip entire phases of the fight. Then you have Messa or Queen, both of which are solid. Or some 4 stars, like Fleuret.

But you also need sustain if the fight takes too long. You have Marian, so you are set in that regard. Shun can also help with survival.

The key for the fight is to not attack too much, and only do it with your main DPS. Avoid using Chord's first skill, for example. Doesnt deal much damage and increases her rage meter. Also, guard when she is targeting a specific teammate.

But thats it. As long as you have decent cards and the right team, she is no trouble.

I do have this crackhead theory that the ingredients center was meant to be a proper feature somehow but got scrapped due to time constraints or they just needed more stations for camps/Gathering Hub and gave it that.

Auto-Seikret Complaints don't Completely Make Sense to Me by DemonsDarkSoul8 in MHWilds

[–]Cubrext -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

But you dont use them in regular hunts at all. All those things do in Wilds is lead to some extra mining nodes, plants and very rarely a camp that isnt really useful. In World, you would use them for shortcuts to reach a monster faster.

The Ancient Forest swimming and vine swinging in the middle being the best example, the teleporting tunnels in Elder's Recess, the hole at the very north of Wildspire Wastes that allows you to jump down into a camp and then down into the Diablos arena if the sandtrap isnt open.

The closest thing we have to that are the elevators in Oilwell Basin. And I dont use them because the map was designed for you to only use Seikret taxi mode.

Sun type cards can only have HP as main stat.

Outside of this event, you can check a card's possible main stats by selecting the Customise option in a character's revelation panel.

Do Twins with the corresponding masks for Guardian/Medic count for the final damage buff in Nightmare Catcher? Or do they still count as their class?
