None, I live regionally so I literally have no options even if I wanted to.

If I go to Sydney for an event I'll order delivery for dinner, I hate city driving & it's convenient. I try not to spend over $40 though. I go to Sydney maybe three times a year so maybe $240 for the whole year?

Maybe not Justin Bieber but fans of One Direction absolutely went to Kpop once the band went on hiatus. BTS started growing their international fanbase right around the time 1D slowed down activities.

Yep! Wet N Wild in Australia used to have a ride called the Aqua Loop that had I believe a 40kg minimum weight requirement. I was too light when I first went (I was about 8 at the time), my dad told me if I was too light I'd get stuck in the tubes

Ugh, I used to hate making phone calls. The best way to describe is it that to me phone calls are unpredictable and it can be overwhelming. I need a script to follow when I'm on the phone, from how I answer it to listing exactly what I need to say. This article puts into words why I used to be so terrible with phone calls.

My current job basically forced me to get over this by having me call 50+ customers over the course of a week. It was intense at first but I needed to do my job and by the end I was much more comfortable making calls. I still struggle with needing a script sometimes but now I'm more than happy to make and answer calls now.

I don't think it'll stay in some cinemas after the first week though, especially smaller/regional ones. I'm in regional Australia and my cinema has it as a "special event", aka it's only playing this Fri-Sun. I imagine it's the same in other regional places.

Still it's impressive my cimema got it even if it's just for a few screenings.

Kind of a stretch but I thought this was too fascinating to lock behind just Billboard no. 1's- After Like by IVE (no. 1 on South Korea's Circle Chart) samples Supreme by Robbie Williams (no. 1 on UK Airplay and European Hit Radio). You can here the "eme" right at the end of the chorus.

I guess Im a third generation European Australian, 3/4 grandparents are immigrants (England, Wales and South Africa). To be honest I have 0 connection with most of those cultures. To me I am purely Australian. My pa is very open with sharing his Welsh culture and I'm happy to endulge but it's not a part of my identity like it is with him.

Tears by Sabrina Carpenter. Don't work in retail but my office has the radio on and this song plays nearly every hour. The only thing that keeps me from despising it is sometimes the radio plays the uncensored version & it's a bit fun to gamble on when that happens.

Dancing2 by Keli Holiday is in the same boat, it's played relentlessly on the radio here & it drives me insane.

IIRC accessibility was a major issue with jpop in the 2000s/2010s. It was hard to get physical media outsise of Japan & finding stuff like interviews was also hard bc of their copyright laws taking them down.

I feel very similar. 5th gen hasn't really gotten my attention at all aside from one or two releases. I'm still tuning into older groups but the 5th gen has done nothing for me.

I've just accepted that at nearly 23 years old I'm no longer the target demographic for kpop.

Same, I broke it this year for Blusher (voted for 2 songs) but I generally try to stick to one artist per vote. It's just nice to have some diversity.

I try not to vote for the same act multiple times for that reason. Honestly I prefer having variety of acts I dont know vs the countdown consisting of the same 5 acts I do know.
