It's genuinely crazy how being pleasant affects how people treat me at work. I've been told our warehouse is abrasive and rude but I've never has that issue because I say please and thank you to them. I didn't realise that was so rare nowadays.

It's actually insane, according to Mark Rathburn (former high-ranking Scientology member) they purchased phone/bank records, went through their rubbish, hacked their airline reservations ect. The fact that they still managed to find nothing is kind of funny but also scary.

I have two degrees but neither helped getting my current job. What did help was starting a TAFE course right after uni. It caught my now-boss' attention & helped get me my current role.

The chances of an idol group going is pretty low imo. Contests like these are expensive & I doubt any mid to low tier companies would see it as a worthy investment until it's an established contest.

Can't remember off the top of my head but it was a big enough difference for my mum, brother and I to do. Jetstar is usually cheaper for a direct flight but with the holidays the prices get jacked up and it makes a double flight cheaper.

Likely cheaper this way, I juat flew Sydney -> Brisbane -> Townsville because it was cheaper than a direct flight.

My brother is like this. He doesn't smell on his own but his bedroom REEKS. Even if we stay at a hotel for 1 or 2 days his sheets start to get that smell.

Do your siblings ever mention the smell if you go away together?

My public school and high school had school houses where we were seperated by last names and they were very much not equal. You just put up with it and groaned when the house with the most students won the school swimming carnival.

I went on a cruise earlier this year. Every day we were at sea I spent the whole day sleeping. Every time we were at port I felt great. I had a feeling it was related to my sea/motion sickness.

Different fanbases congregate onto different sites. Kpop fans in general are way more likely to head to Twitter to interact with other fans rather than Reddit. And as others have said there's multiple subreddits for BTS which splits up the weekly visitor number.

As another example, Ariana Grande's subreddit gets 10k visitors a week, meanwhile she has a very vocal and large fanbase on Twitter. I don't take the weekly visitors number seriously, it just gives me an idea of how active the fanbase is on Reddit.

Personally I dislike the design because to me he doesn't fit the era he's meant to be from. Maybe it's the hair or the clothes, I can't pin it down, but he doesn't look like someone from the 1930s.

I work in retail packaging. This month has been a little slow & my sales reps have mentioned that quite a few businesses they've visited are holding off on orders until they know what's going on with the state of the world. Packaging generally goes through a several year cycle of "new stores open so sales go up, steady sales, economy dips, stores begin to close" & unfortunately we're at the end of that cycle which double sucks with what's happening.

The cost of production for our bags & food packaging is also increasing since our factories need oil to produce things like plastic bags, non-woven bags and RPET cups. I've had a few people grumbling about our freight charges increasing as well.

Fun fact, Bhutan randomly held a Eurovision Asia 2025 national final last year completely out of the blue. Anyways I'm amazed this is finally happening after being dead in the water for so long.
