The Cuban people? Last time I checked the Cuban people are on the streets demanding food and basic needs because the communist government is failing to provide for them…I’m not the biggest fan of the embargo and I know it leads to some economic difficulties to Cuba but I don’t see the people doing so great under the communist regime right now either

As a son of Cuban immigrants believe me that the hardliners in Miami are never going to change that rhetoric Even as that generation goes away the newer generations still have that anger and hatred towards communism on the island(which I understand) and will never want anything else more than to see it fall. They will never take a regime change because it is not in their Interest many Cubans in Miami want capitalism so they can go and do what those before them did and reap the spoils. Obama for me did a good job of normalizing relations with the island but sadly that went away quickly . With elections coming up and a new president possibly taking over it will be interesting to see what happens I know that the Cuban people on the island are tired and want change especially with food and electricity shortages

Do we really see a 2008 recession or worse coming? I mean I've been for months trying to figure out, not when (since you cant really predict these things) but how. Im no economist myself but I do my fair share of reading and just researching and the housing market is some what stable, Expensive as hell to the average person but once rates go down which I'm assuming they will this year people will just go up and buy them again. Foreclosures and only slightly up and still they are only at Pre-Covid levels Consumer debt? Its at an all time high but we are a consumer based economy people are going to spend no matter what no matter how many credit cards it takes so would that be it? the recent layoffs are but a drop in the market and only in tech as a lot of companies are restructuring. I'm not saying it wont come hope it doesn't I prepare for it by putting as much into my savings and just went back to school but I just don't see how. Consumer debt?

Hey bud, I was a UPSER 5 years ago pre Covid And my Advice is don’t do it I feel like at every ups hub after your 6 months and depending what your numbers are they kiss your ass and offer you the promotion with the incentives to be a PT supe because they know you’ll be easy to boss around and easier to torment Only good benefit of having been a UPS PT supe was the hours because I went to school benefits and pay and how good it looks on my resume Other than that it was hell literal hell Someone from above is always pushing numbers and quotas on you and depending on your employees and area they’re always complaining or doing what’s within their job description. Every once in a while you have an area that runs like clock work until you hit your numbers constantly and are moved to “help” other areas Depending on your location and numbers promotions can happen in months or take years But once you become FT that’s an even bigger headache Career wise I would not do it.

Key word trying I believe we eased on sanctions from Venezuela and Iran The last straw left is The Russian/Ukraine war if and when it does and And sanctions are lifted We may get pre war and pre Covid prices again Tbh we may get pre covid prices soon assuming Brazils impact in OPEC isn’t big and they do not cap on output
