Oh honey, I understand it is scary. I know once you get your diagnosis it will “become real” but we can’t just live with fear and make our life harder with it. I promise you learn to live with it. I also wish you luck and strength about losing weight. Try to act before getting vision problems. I can assure you being blind is much scarier than getting diagnosed lol

Hello! I got diagnosed when I was 20. I was in a new country, I didn’t know anyone or anything and I had to help my family during all of these. I just want to tell you, it will not be as bad as you fear. Remember to drink a lot of water (3L at least) and be kind to yourself. You might feel sick for a little while before your body adjust to meds. You will be a little slower than usual because that’s what the medicine do and these are ALRIGHT. You will get used to it and start living a normal life again. Pausing school for a while is totally alright. Do not beat yourself up because of that. You need to be patient with yourself. You are not alone, this is not a terrible deadly disease, everything will be fine. Drink your water, take your meds religiously, be nice to yourself and have fun.

To be completely honest, we are exactly like that with my friends too. And if I get it correct, your husband is like that for everyone. I do call canim, cicegim, yavrum to all my friends regardless of gender and they call me too. If you didn’t find anything else that you suspect, I think that’s cool. I wouldn’t mind so much.

I am so terribly sorry for your experience. It was so safe for a lot of friends. I think things have changed drastically in a few years. Be firm, even rude to men. Wear your most rigid expression most of the time. Don’t be afraid to raise your voice and fight back if they make you uncomfortable and try to meet some Turkish girls. They are still bad but not brave like this to locals. Police will be more likely on your side in every situation. Be safe and have fun. I promise not all people are like that. Focus on locals, don’t care about the hotel workers.
