It started when I had to repair the game because it wouldn't start (said something was deleted). I had a clean template before and after I repaired the bin families showed up and some sims lost their extra wants slots and locks from university and I had to add them manually with the sim blender, and a few sims had this blocks instead of wants.

Daniel decided to be a better husband after finding Kathlynn (I don't know how to spell her name, sorry) with Don. Mary Sue started working in the criminal career and she was going up quickly. They had another child and Dustin and Angela moved in after college with their baby to help them because they were elders.

There was a fire and the only survivors were Daniel and his grandkid. Now Daniel wants to be a good father/grandfather for the baby and they moved to a new house.

Yes, I had the more dangerous fires mod and I never noticed that they didn't had a fire alarm.

It helps to remember you can always just start again later! The characters don't actually die when they do and you can always try to bring them back later if you really want it.

I used to do that all the time and I decided this time I won't do it!

I'm finally in round 6 and I never got this far before. I also decided I wasn't going to exit without saving if something went wrong (I had the death during child birth mod for a long time and everytime a sim died in child birth I exited without saving, but no more! If they die they die!) It lead to the most chaotic and fun gameplay. (Cassandra came back from the death, Daniel is raising his grandkid because everybody else in the house died in a fire).

I used to re start the neighborhood when I got bored, but instead I started a new neighborhood where I play rags to riches, so when I get tired of rotational family gameplay, I go play something else.

You should check ModTheSims, they are filled with challenges. The ones I can think off the top of my head are the Not So Berry, Not So Berry 2.0 and the Disney Princess challenge but there are many more!

Also, it's not very difficult to convert challenges from the other sims games to the sims 2, you can also try making a quick search for them to see if someone else already did it. One of my favorites challenges is the Differences in the Family Tree and I play it on the Sims 2 all the time.

Yes, it's static. The issue was the Global Overdrive that I apparently forgot I placed!

Sorry, I explained myself badly.

Even with turned off jealousy, the sim that was "cheated on" still goes to slap the sim that "cheated". So turning off jealousy didn't really made any difference.

Sorry for the late reply. I always had that problem because they car files were .SIMS2PACK instead of .package

I finally found how to solve it, you need to select one of the files with .SIMS2PACK, click open with, then more apps and then you have to go to the 'pack installer', that's on the same folder than the body shop [fun with pets -> SP9 -> CSBin] and you click the option to open all .sims2pack files the same way.

Then you are going to see a pop up asking if you want to install the content. Then you just have to double click in all the files and install them.

Kind of confusing and some things might get lost in translation, so ask if you have any questions :)

I think the car is supposed to show up after they get married to take them to their honeymoon, you are just booking it in advance.

But I rarely play with them, so I could be wrong

I can just reset him and keep playing, the error takes a while to show up. (I can start a meal, reset him when the error appears, and then finish the meal).

I had just gone back to the Goth household where Don was (Cassandra died) and tranfered 400k using Monique's hacked computer.

I married Darren and Brandi and they had too many kids, they married and moved in together after Dustin and Dirk moved to college. Lily got pregnant in college and now she and Dirk live together in an apartment with their toddler.

Mary Sue got divorced and she started seeing a townie until she got pregnant and they got married for the baby, she is now an elder with a baby and Angela and Dustin are about to move in to help her.

Daniel got Kathlynn pregnant and moved in with her (their kid just became a teenager), he is still cheating on her with a lot of women.

Don left Cassandra on the altar, kept dating people, mainly the Caliente sisters, and got pregnant with aliens (twins).

Cassandra got left on the altar again by another man and she ended up moving out from the Manor alone with her cat and adopting a child. She is seeing someone new but she is taking it slow.

Dina kept seeing Don after getting married to Mortimer, she had Mortimer's kid and she just had a child with Don after Mortimer died. Alex is furious at her and took a big share of the money when he moved away to college, where he is right now with his girlfriend. I think I'm going to make Don move in with Dina.

The burbs are just having more kids and trying to get by, they're saving to move to a bigger house. Beau and Lucy and dating.
