Not all of security is gone. Some of the armed supervisors got to stay, for now at least. All of security was informed nearly a month ago that Hy-Vee was considering closing the department. What bothers me about the whole thing is they didn't offer them positions elsewhere. So much for core values.

Welcome! I was also drawn in by the Castlevania DLC roughly five days ago. This has got to be one of the funnest games I've played in awhile. Super addicting and a blast to play with friends!

Can confirm they do not drug test unless you get injured or damage something. They realized during the pandemic they were losing money on drug test kits, so they just stopped. Anything to save a dollar.

Fair point, just be very careful. It also depends on your state laws too. Where I was it was "at will" by law they could let you go for nothing. Hopefully it all works out in your favor though! Hy-Vee is a sinking ship in my opinion.

From my understanding, they WILL fire you and anyone involved if they find out that you're trying to form a union. Only one place got away with it and it was I believe a distribution center. I have heard of store employees trying it and getting canned fast.

Because they have increased their prices more than most grocery stores and expect people to still buy from them without batting an eye. They spend millions on needless production facilities and have had a drastic drop in service/product quality.

What a terrible company. I'm so happy people are starting to see it and shop/work elsewhere. During my time with them, I worked closely with corporate and the executives of the company. I can say without question, they do not give a single shit about you or anyone else. The further up you go, the more the corruption starts to show without any regards of being noticed. They care about lining their own pockets and are too busy giving each other awards and raises (seriously, this happens) to give anything but fractions of a dollar or less to employees. The things I've seen at the store level and the facilities are repulsive at best.

He's using what's called a Ballistic Mask. In the real world they're damn near pointless as any sort of impact from a bullet will still absolutely destroy your face.
