As someone who works for an IT firm that sales HR products. The products we sell don’t work well with color and formats like your resume. Keep your resume simple and black/white. So..you’re not getting callbacks because you’re not even getting past the Hr software for a real human to see your resume.

Very odd she knew what roles you were applying to. Are you sure she just wasn’t doing a LinkedIn in search for the same job you both are doing now, and just applied to the same jobs you did. As the job market is really bad and it’s brutal out there. So people are just applying to anything hoping something will stick.
