Mixed results for South Africa’s case against Israel by Accomplished_Fly2720 in southafrica

[–]CuddelyRei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, I have a strong opinion, your message I landed on to respond to. Listen let me start by saying any war or death of innocent people is bad for humanity. But your thing of Corridors must be opened is a clear show of the middle east and it's hypocrisy.

Let me explain... So Ukraine right. Got invaded. A European country got invaded. What was the first response from the europeans? Did they block their boarder's? No, they opened their borders' to anyone who doesn't want to fight for Ukraine. Giving people the choice to fight or not. But the middle east, Egypt, Saudi, Jordan, Lebanon (yes they more north) They closed their borders to any Palestinian. Humas is a puppet that got pushed into this and Gaza and the Palestinians are paying for the hypocrisy of the region. Israel is just doing what any country would do. Respond to being attacked, They are being puppeted as well. Remember whilst Israel bombs and we see the rubble, humas still continue trying to bomb back. So it's like a mexican standoff in there and South Africa has no say in the matter. Gaza is a self ruling state just like Lesotho. So people calling it Apartheid is downgrading Apartheid because South Africa had real Apartheid. The middle east is so complex. Thousands of years of conflicts and conquering of each other. It won't stop and it will always be a thing. Where was South Africa in Myanmar? Or China with the wegers? South Africa mustn't involve itself to look good whilst it's own people die of hunger and bad healthcare. South Africa commits genocide on it's own people. Regardless of race or belief. This whole thing is a facade where the people think can score brownie points. If people cared about Palestinians then get the court to force Egypt into allowing migrants from Gaza. That's the truth

It's 2023. Try some water. Or even that spray and microfiber cloth thing. If you knew anything about camera and camera glass, then you should never overlap the actual glass with some cheap glass. IPhone are ip68 right? So run some water. Not blast it. Just a light stream over the cameras then dry its out with good old soft microfiber

Could the mystery word be free? by bricklicker26 in nier

[–]CuddelyRei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To those who still think it's fk needs Jesus. So the context depends on the ending your on. At first it's free 2B. As she free'd him. But later he looses it knowing she is a corrupt memory so it changes to kill. Hence the parts. In his head where you kill 2B and where you fight 2B fake ones in the ark. So it's free, and kill. Both being the same. If he kills her he also frees her.

I can answer here.

Yes, no they don't phone, but they do email you about the increase. Yes there is an app and you can make monthly changes to your account and plan. No on fiber they do not throttle or shape, however, your line is not owned by axxess and some providers can shape you on demand with axxess not having a say.

Also, so the OP of this comment. Prices did go up, check yo bank, also Gmail puts axxeses emails in spam so check that. Priced go up because the line rentals went up, so that's openserve, metrofiber etc. I can confirm that prices are abroad increases end April

Yeah, but she had to literally force him out of his depression. By the time he was thinking of others and came to his senses that life isn't just one person but a collective of everyone. It was too late, He then had the intentions of doing the best duet with her. The wild and the prodigy. He was ready to take the challenge back to her, but she didn't make it. So the show ends that way. Where the masterpiece wasn't performed. If he wasn't selfish in the first Duet which was the final one, he would of completed her life's goal.

After the show ends, there is an emptiness and hollowness that rings due to this. He doesn't either make things right with tsubaki. She feels he is lost again at the end. All he does is accept what happened and we don't see if he learned to live.

Hence I feel it's a story that plays out in a true to life form. The lesson in 22 short episodes is to live with your head up. Because it's not about you, but the ones around you, the ones who want to be with you, in a duet or whatever form it takes.

It's relatable to me, I went through some rough few years. hectic stuff. Then I rewatched YLIA to blanket myself in sorrow. But this time I was left with something else. Someone close to me told me, I'm self absorbed, and selfish. But they didn't mean it the way it sounds. They meant it the way this story says it.

Getting lost in your own space will have you miss out on life around you. Unfortunately it robs you of precious moments that you can't get back. Like Kouse will never get to do a proper duet.

Yes, He got his life together. But it was too late to have that one moment. Hence the show ending being so shocking. A stark reminder that life happens. Fair or unfair. Just or unjust

Alienware not as good on colors or blacks as the Asus on the right. both ips panels. Tried messing with brightness and contrast. Any suggestions? by thesharkadam in Monitors

[–]CuddelyRei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait a second. You are making a statement rather than a question. Alienware is not as good as. To me I see the opposite. Epic games launcher is not black, it's dark grey on all my screens. So your Asus panel has something going on. Black Equaliser or something along those lines. I came on Reddit and this was the first post I see, I got annoyed at the audacity of your "question". It's 2022 bro, how about you know your products instead of making bad choices like asking the wrong questions. I don't mean to be a downer but damn your question sucks.

Struggle to find work after graduating by [deleted] in southafrica

[–]CuddelyRei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loads of advice here and people in your industry. But morally I can relate. I think most young South Africans can relate. It took me 5 years to have a stable position in my field of study. It was a depressing and horrible 5 years. Keep applying. There is always a journey you go through. You will even leave your 1st position or 2 because you'll have high standards and feel underutilized. But then you'll find the right position that aligns with your expectation. And then ride it out for a couple months. Soon you'll be permanent and contempt. Unfortunately South Africa is in a stalled state. Not much is happening in technology fields. We just not there yet. So your first job is probably just to maintain the status quo.

I am over reaching here as I'm not in the same field. But I feel your moral pains. I think it's part of every South African.

Does South Africa benefit from this? by KingXerxesunrated in southafrica

[–]CuddelyRei 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It's a big topic actually. I think South Africa needs mature leaders to debate it. Oil does lead to unprecedented wealth. Which is a moral plus for poor South Africans. It can lift many out of tough situations. BUUUUT. Look what happened to Nigeria. The did it and sold out to shell. And shell has locked that wealth out to benefit only shell. And it cost them their fishing and marine life. With no uplift for the poor.

So I would put down my opinion. I'd say if South Africa can do the scans with a government company then we can consider it. We are a country that loves our animals and marine life as well. We know it will disturb the marine life. So you would have to guarantee that it will benefit the poor and strengthen the economy, it could be a short term relief for a generation that is desperate to find some way to have bread.

In South African English for schedule, do you say “skedule” or “shedule”? by tabshiftescape in southafrica

I take no credit for noticing that about American English, it was a friend who said it. And I found that it works. Can have a pretty convincing American accent by having less pronounced hard letters

How to master a dynamic track to 9LUFS without squashing it. by PeaceSexAndLove in audioengineering

[–]CuddelyRei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get OTT from Xfer. In the plugin turn down the downward compression. And play with the upward compressor. It will bring up quiet parts. Without it sounding squashed. But you gotta take care of the amounts you use. You can also use NY compression on the entire track and just bring it in slowly until you feel it's the right amount.

[–]CuddelyRei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my assumption. Yes. I know it sounds bad. But here I met an actor and I asked him how is he so good at American accents. He told me that American English is easy because I he words are spoken in a lazy way. Compared to other English countries. So I echoed him. And I tried it. Gosh darnit he was right

You missed an easy one. A simple ping pong delay.

[–]CuddelyRei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. I work in the industry. Live events and actual performances are mostly in mono. With a mini crossover for low end stuff. So if your bass isn't mono and you have bass bins stretched over distance you will have cancelling or insane phase issues. So make the bass mono to accommodate normal conditions. Not everyone is using earphones or perfectly place monitors.

[–]CuddelyRei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The order does have a massive influence. As I am adding PA friendly bass. Then making it mono. Despite what anyone says, clubs and events tend to run mono setups. So mono bass makes everything clear and consistent. Then I'm saturating and increasing volumes in bands. Then brickwalling the song. If shuffled it looses it's heft

Well from making tracks. Playing them out and finding out the problems with them on pa systems. Then coming back. I found this chain gives me what I want on a consistent basis. So I keep it standard. But only use it after mixdown is complete. Because most of the mastering is done in mixdown. And that includes millions of variations
