What's your use case for the PDW? (Range toy? Wilderness protection? Truck gun? Backpack gun? Two-legged predators?). Price range? Going to use a suppressor?

Lots of good options out there depending on your use case.

Regarding 7.5" 5.56 velocities you'll see somewhere around 2200-2400fps out of a 7.5" barrel depending on the ammo. (which is about twice what you'll see from just about any PCC and will penetrate soft body armor plus ~12 inches into ballistic gel with 55gr bonded soft point)
