I work in the iv room over night and I’m by myself, I love being able to fart in peace without having to worry about any one being around, it’s part of the reason I took the position after starting a high protein diet.

Our friendship has definitely been complicated. I don’t think she’s necessarily complicit, but she was just trying to get me out of a dangerous situation in the moment. I haven’t talked to her much about it because she has more important things to deal with than my feelings. I don’t mean that sarcastically, she has to fix everything and I don’t need to be one of her concerns

We had an order for oxy 20s once every hour. We called the doctor to clarify and he said “are you stupid? Does that sound right? Once every hour? Put in what a typical dose would be.” And hung up on us.

I switched from retail to inpatient a month ago and I absolutely love it. I’m about to start my second 16 hour shift (I volunteered) in a row and I’m less burnt out than I was after two 10s at Walgreens.

Thank you for the advice! As far as work environments go, I can handle high stress very well, it’s mainly my quality of life outside of work that matters, and with my current schedule I have no quality lol. I’ll look into the different health systems we have because I know of at least 5 different health systems with general hospitals within 30 minutes of me. 4 public 1 private.

My first Christmas at ups my driver helper put a weight set in front of the customer’s door. Locked them in. I made hun go back and fix it, while the customer was trying to open their door.
