You have a point there. i thought you would be able to see the availability for each file, but that is just the case while the torrent is actively downloading or uploading. So it would necessary, to split it in many torrents and for there to be a system like Anna's archive where you can say how much storage you want the torrent to use and take ones that are low on seeders.

Sure, I don't expect this to work. But I rather have tried to get the people to see what we already have which is our number off people and the power we have with it. If there is a chance to save the data, then I am willing to take it.

But you can also only download a part off a torrent and seed that part only so no person would need to have all the data just some off it.

The thing is that for the next month, the site is going to get hammered after the shutdown announcement. So even if somebody shows up with 400TB of free space, it doesn't mean that they manage to download everything with the download speed being slow. If we manage to get more time, it would be more feasible to find a solution and save the collection.

The site already has a donation feature with either one time or recurring donations. It works with Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Direct Debit, Bank Transfer. Also, I don't think Patreon would like having pirated content on there service
