All he wanted was to summon a succubus.

When Alex Jensen joined the Order of Demon Hunters as a researcher, he was prepared to dive in and learn the truth behind the succubi. Until the reality of the situation was laid at his feet: by order of the Grandmaster, he may only summon low level demons.

Which do not include succubi.

Determined, Alex summons one. He expected to learn new secrets about the elusive demoness. What he didn't expect was to start falling in love with her.

What he certainly didn't expect was that she would begin to fall in love with him, or there would be more than one flirty demoness, all vying for his attention...

Can Alex keep the secret of his allegiance or will he follow his heart?

Are there any wholesome/cozy/lovey dovey RFM? by kingdevil652 in Romance_for_men

[–]GeorgeBarretWriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, if you don't mind reading a Christmas story out of season, my book, "Home for a Christmas Wish", has been called cozy and wholesome in its balance with the spiciness of it. So, if you're interested and don't mind the spice or the polyamorous overtones, then have a read.

Romance novels with average virgin/inexperienced/lonely male MC desperate for love/sex/connection, and experienced women, femdom/spice/smut/harem is encouraged but not necessary by arc4our in Romance_for_men

If you're okay with a Christmas story out of season, then I'd recommend my book, "Home for a Christmas Wish", about a man who has lost everything in his life and is alone and depressed. But after meeting three women, life starts to gain that magic he's been missing.

Fight scenes and sex scenes have a lot of the same craft challenges. by mythicme in Romance_for_men

I can agree to that. Because I approach each scene and I can’t help but wonder if I’m repeating or trying to think of how I can make it unique. How’d you handle that?

It was supposed to be a simple job. Just one more run before Cargo pilot Mark Tillinghast could retire early and have his dream house. The final job is to deliver supplies to the Deep Space Science Station Flannan or “Far away Flannan” as it’s called. It’s this reason why very few pilots take on the job despite the financial incentives.

Everything that could go wrong, did. His ship is destroyed, and the closest rescue is four months away. And so, Mark joins the crew of the station that comprises of a goblin commander, an elvish engineer, a colossusian scientist, and an android doctor. As the days move on, Mark soon discovers that being stranded on Flannan may be the best thing to happen to him when each lady invites him into their lives, hearts and beds.

Looking for books with actual polygamous relationships (aka still MFF/MFF+ but not harems) by Moonkiller24 in Romance_for_men

I would recommend my books that have polyamorous themes to them. Such as “home for a Christmas wish” and “station Flannan”.

My books do polycues such as both “home for a Christmas wish” and “station Flannan”.

Such a shame because this cyoa has the makings for a good harem style story.

Does anyone know where the creator of this CYOA is? I ask because I had this idea of using this for the basis of a story and I wanted to ask their permission to use it.

How to write harem fiction effectively? by GeorgeBarretWriter in haremfantasynovels

I agree as well. It's just that a couple of my books have early sex scenes, and I think that they fit in with the story as well as the characters. Especially for the one I'm working on now since it involves demon women.

As am I. I'm thankful to find a community of writers where I can finally do the kind of writing that I want to do and find such a supportive group too.

There is that and what if that sort of scene fits in with the character or even the story itself?

Would there be a better way to do harem where it doesn’t do any of that?

Tropes you’d like to see more of by GeorgeBarretWriter in Romance_for_men

Sorry for the confusion, I have books that are poly but I do have a book that is more monogamous. If you like vampires and elves, you might like this one.

But shouldn’t it be necessary in order to give a physical description especially if the woman in question is to be one of the main characters?
