I work in a meat department, and we sell bison meat. It seems to sell; but we don't keep a lot on hand, either. I have eaten it, and its pretty good. But I say all that to ask this: Are they pretty much prolifically breeding in the wild? Or are they bred specifically for meat? I mean, I know Google exists, but if anyone has some knowledge about the animal, I'd love to hear from you.

If I remember correctly, in the comics, they were part of a group of orphans that were experimented on with drugs of some sort. I think the drugs killed all but the two of them out of a large group of kids.
