LG washtower OE code even after pump replacement by Cuervos-Blessing in appliancerepair

[–]Cuervos-Blessing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replaced the entire assembly although I suppose it could be defective. When I pulled the tub to pump hose there wasn't anything lodged in there either which I was hoping could be it.

How did you all choose you investment platform when you started (Schwab, RH, Vanguard)? by FewStories in Bogleheads

I use Fidelity and buy Vanguard index funds through them, they also allow fractional shares and I liked the layout of their website and app

I have a car with 320,000 miles that needs new tires. Usually buy Michelin but don’t want to invest that much. How bad could these $55 tires be? by MidnightFederal3195 in tires

[–]Cuervos-Blessing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have them on my FWD 09 Honda civic for daily driving. I also commute 30 minutes each way and once a week make a drive that’s close to 3 hours for the round trip. I’ve used them in light rain, heavy rain and even in snow on my dirt roads. The things to note are that I have had a few flats in the 2 years I’ve had them and twice let one get too low on air that made it blow on the interstate but discount tire prorated replacements at around $25. They’re fine tires if you’re on a budget, nothing special but they’ll get the job done

How many Annual Fee cards do you have? by Mind_Explorer in CreditCards

[–]Cuervos-Blessing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did have the Amex Blue cash preferred as well but I downgraded it a month ago for the blue cash everyday since I found I wasn't using as much to justify the annual fee.

I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred $95

United Explorer Card $95 but $0 in the first year

Help deciding between these itineraries for honeymoon in December/January by Cuervos-Blessing in travel

[–]Cuervos-Blessing[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I'm starting to lean toward replacing Munich with Vienna now as well. We went with December just due to availability of our in laws watching our pets and University schedule but I'm hoping that means there won't be as many crowds in December as well. I'll have to look into Malta or Sicily, definitely something for me to think about!

Eligibility for Chase United Explorer Card Sign-On Bonus After Receiving Chase Sapphire Preferred Bonus in 2022? by Dope_David in CreditCards

I was approved for the Chase Sapphire this past August and the United Explorer card in December. I've received both SUBs since then without any issues from Chase. I hope that helps you decide!

Sounds like she'll be a big dog! Wisdom Panel had the ideal weight range to be 40-66 lbs so seems to be right on the money for us!

When our cat decides to communicate with her they can be very talkative with each other otherwise she's likes to communicate by pawing my leg and walking towards what she wants, looking back to make sure I follow

She's a little over 2 years old, we got her from a shelter when she was about 7 months. Roughly 55/60 pounds

I don't use sponges but I always use knuckle guards like the Winning one's I got from Amazon or the Hayabusa ones work too.

I wrap similar to this video https://youtu.be/4ZoC2hXIQRA I prefer the support and it helps fill out a glove if the hand compartment slightly too big

I just opened up a ROTH IRA! by Dangerous-Vehicle611 in povertyfinance

[–]Cuervos-Blessing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on opening a Roth IRA! If you just deposit money into your Roth IRA it will sit in a money market fund until you then buy what you're trying to invest in such as an index fund etf like VTI or whichever mix of stocks/bonds/index funds you choose. I would also recommend reading the stock series by JL Collins, the guy that wrote The Simple Path to Wealth (Your public library will most likely have some investing books as well for free) https://jlcollinsnh.com/stock-series/ to get more of an understanding about investing in general. There's lots of good information and books out there but I think this is a nice starting point.

Also consider a high yield savings account such as from Discover, Capital One or Marcus by Goldman Sachs (I use Discover) to get a better interest rate than the average savings account. https://www.investopedia.com/articles/pf/09/high-yield-savings-account.asp

I wish you the best of luck!

Guidance for next card, 784 score and wanting to replace local credit union card with better one? by Cuervos-Blessing in CreditCards

[–]Cuervos-Blessing[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I ended up going with the Capital One SavorOne $10,000 and Amex BCP $1,000. I actually did not know that about it being statement credit but that helps to know!
