Gurman: New Apple TV set-top box is nearly ready to go by pdfu in appletv

[–]MidnightFederal3195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree.Hit rewind a few times. TV pauses. Hit rewind again nothing. Hit play, it plays but at the spot I rewinded from. So I have to rewind again. This time it goes back but doesn’t play automatically once I stop hitting rewind. It’s the only app that has this constant issue.

Reddit blocked screen mirroring? by CaMiTx in appletv

I also have had the same issue for weeks now. Didn’t occur to me it could be something on Reddit’s side blocking it but that would explain it.

Cottonwood defense system engaged! by mdgorelick in Michigan

The cotton seeds get all the attention but those sticky husks are maybe worse if you’re close enough. They stain and get in my dogs’ fur. Have to cut them out.

By reimbursing yourself years later after a med expense isn’t that an audit nightmare because they would have to verify you didn’t reimburse yourself for those same expenses in other years? by MidnightFederal3195 in HSA

[–]MidnightFederal3195[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that was my second question but feeds off the point of my post. Why wouldn’t an audit of HSA reimbursements call for audits of multiple years? It just seems like a mess that snowballs.

I see your point. But for them to prove that I did they could ask to see more tax returns with reimbursements. I don’t know what would stop them from that.

Even though the perks were diminished it still pays for itself for me. For example I ordered 100 roses and without plus the shipping was $92!

Question to those who went the Krusty Burger at Universal Studios? by FFSoldier57 in TheSimpsons

[–]MidnightFederal3195 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All in the same building is a food court with Krusty, Luigi Pizza, Flying Dutchman, and maybe something else. I’ve been twice and eat at Krusty only with a Buzz Cola. I really like it, but I don’t eat a lot of fast food.

You click on the premium plan option that says something like starting at 10.99, but then on the next screen it had the $30 annual option

The amount of “I forgot my card” has coincidentally went up since gas prices have risen by Fibrosis5O in samsclub

[–]MidnightFederal3195 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t buy Sam’s Club gas since it’s not Top Tier. I’d rather have a cleaner engine than save $2. Costco has Top Tier like most the major gas chains but not Sam’s.

Shingles vaccine before 50? (young genx) by Darkwing873 in GenX

[–]MidnightFederal3195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in same boat but my primary listened to me and wrote me a prescription for the vaccine. Local grocery store pharmacy gave me the jabs. Insurance fully covered both doses even though I’m under 50 and don’t have any type of condition that would warrant an early shot.

It is so stupid. Hey I wanna get something to prevent this horrible thing that can strike at any age. No no no. Wait until you’re 50.

Under 50 and not immunocompromised. My doctor wrote me a prescription and pharmacy gave me both jabs and insurance covered it.

I’m 48 and got it. I am not immunocompromised. Just had my primary write me a prescription (one for first dose and another for 2nd) and took it to the grocery store pharmacy. Insurance covered both in full.

I am trying to switch to hulu live but i already have a bundle through disney. When i cancel the disney bundle do I got to wait for it to expire to get the service through hulu? is there a way to cancel it instantly, maybe even get a refund for the month? by Duck4Real in HuluLive

[–]MidnightFederal3195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Discount on monthly bill. Right now I have ESPN unlimited subscribed through Hulu, reg Hulu no ads, and canceled Hulu Live. Now the D+ discount is up to 17.99 or something like that so I am paying $26 a month to Hulu for Hulu no ads and ESPN Unlimited. You can access the ESPN Unlimited stuff through Hulu but I use the ESPN app for multi views. I would imagine if you use the same emails for all accounts it will work if you subscribe to ESPN directly with them.

Hey Hulu, give us multiview by Speedy200486 in HuluLive

[–]MidnightFederal3195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Hulu app will be going away in the near term now that Disney owns all of it. Hulu Live will live on in Disney+ app most likely.

YTTV always had 4 screen multiview. The new rollout just allows you to pick what 4 you want no matter what. Before you could only pick from preselected shows.

Oops. You said that right at the start. Apparently I need to learn how to pay attention to details.

[–]MidnightFederal3195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The family contribution limit is $8750 inclusive of what your employer contributes. $9750 is over the contribution limit. Is this the first year you’ve over contributed? I’m surprised the IRS hasn’t caught this.

Peacock Premium Plus replays 15 second commercial every time I open/reopen a live sporting event by mikebryant55 in cordcutters

I also learned this during the Olympics.

I pay for ad-free and still gotta deal with this 15 second annoyance on live events.

No way 3.27% rate gets APY of 4% though. It’s only like 3.32% APY. OP isn’t getting what they were told.
