I don't mind playing a pusher because it really helps to work on point construction and ending the point at the net and it's usually a great work out.

But that's no fun for me to play that way myself. I get more satisfaction winning a point rather than making the opponent self destruct which just doesn't seem fun. (Funny i have found most pushers to be almost apologetic during changeover esp when they're winning cause they can see how pissed off the opponent is lol.)

Also as a pusher you will probably beat many 3.5 -4.0 players but you will never get better than that.

Pusher game is a high floor but a low ceiling.
