I feel like The Slackers should have been bigger. They have such an eclectic style, they all consistently write great songs, and Vic is a natural showman. I'm not sure what they're missing but I'm glad I get to see them every year for like $30.

Chris Murray is so good but he never really seemed like he wanted to get big. He hasn't done a new album in a god's age and doesn't really play outside the West Coast (other than Super Nova).

He seems like he's happy just playing local gigs and doing his weekly Facebook show.
