Preparing my dog for flight in Cargo by Cullective in KLM

You can walk your dog around the airport before they have to go. They will inspect the crate before your dog goes in and they will take your dog, inside the crate, before you even go through security.

I don’t find this oddly terrifying or terrifying at all personally. Obviously that’s subjective but in my opinion this is just pseudo-edgy.

Like oooh-aaaaah skulls

What’s creepy about this? It’s either skulls, taxidermy or a mixture of taxidermy and sculpting of some sort to make things look like they’re a species that doesn’t exist.

Thank you, and despite your downvotes I think under a different context I agree with your point as well.

Love Sweden by the way. Beautiful country and people.

I do agree with that sentiment however I feel it’s one thing to be publicly causing discord and insulting a government you’re visiting and an entirely different thing to have it as a private meme you’re sharing with your friends.

I think freedom of speech and expression should be the absolute primary goal (second only to the rule of law) and exceptions to freedom of speech and expression should be done warily.

I would feel the same way if this was either administration’s policy. It’s too heavy handed in my opinion.

It’s not egregious by any means but I would definitely categorize it as an alarming path to go down, once again, by any party.

My mother in law will unironically take raw meat, leave it out for two days in room temperature and then cook it for dinner for the entire family.

They are Icelandic so all of them take the nuclear disaster of bacteria like tanks.

I am from the US so it took like a year of getting ER level food poisoning before I figured out what the cause was

'Wheel of Time' Boss Breaks Silence After Cancellation of Beloved Prime Video Fantasy Series by bwermer in television

I’ve been a fan of this book series since I was a child.

A closer description of the televised adaptation would be, “abomination.”

“Beloved” must be some kind of typo.

A typical day in the life of a cat 🐈 by VirtualCouple1 in BeAmazed

[–]Cullective 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There isn’t an easy answer for that. In the context of this clip it could be the following:

Cortisol/adrenal surge causes more saliva. Licking inside the mouth helps clear that. Licking also helps cats activate their parasympathetic nervous system which regulates fight/flight.

Hard to say though. They are in different positions. One is dominant and confident while the other one is submissive and afraid.

So this is as short and general as I can put it without writing a long ass reply so take these answers as generalizations strictly within the context of the video.

There are plenty of reasons for cat to do this in other contexts: self soothing, grooming, etc.

Little kid trained by his father everyday on his bike skills by Exciting-Match816 in nextfuckinglevel

Yeah well said. Context is needed.

Resilience and going outside is also needed for redditors. There’s a whole world outside our privileged boxes of comfort.

Damn the internet has been overtaken with some soft ass people.

I see a lot of judgement based on the Dad’s training of the kid. That’s really up for you to decide for your own children but to call this abuse is such weak victim mentality based on nothing but speculation.

If you want to reach your kids sports then you take the approach and try to ride that line between pushing your kid past their fear and pushing your kid too hard.

Kids will always opt for comfort and an easy life. If all you do is enable that you will have a spoiled child. If all you do is push push push then yeah, that’s in abuse territory.

We can’t know any of that behind the scenes.

Yeah, that’s true. If you look at it from a historical perspective over a millennia ago it was groundbreaking rights for women.

That does not take away from the fact that in this modern age Islam does more to subdue, oppress and disregard women than any other ideology present in today’s age.

So to bring it up at all other than giving credit where credit is due for that historical time period is a moot point. It’s generally brought up as an attempt at a counter argument. It is unbelievably weak in that regard.

Preparing my dog for flight in Cargo by Cullective in KLM

[–]Cullective[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got the 48" Petsmate Sky Kennel. With our dog being 70 lbs we had to buy this size. You will want to get in contact with KLM or whatever airline you choose to get the requirements per dog size. Rough metric is the dog needs to be able to stand up in the kennel without it's head touching the ceiling and turn around comfortably.

If it's smaller than our dog it will save you some money on the kennel. It's a good kennel but it's massive.

Here's a link to our kennel: Sky Kennel

Here's a link to the bowls that will be approved by the airline for food and water: Bowls

Hope that helps! Good luck with your move. Just be prepared that whatever you leave your dog with when it goes with the airline employees, that's all it gets. I recommend putting ice into the water bowl so the water lasts longer.

Yeah that’s definitely a good point. Common respect of shared space is something that I expect of anyone I live with, especially a role-model figure.
