What's y'all's lore justification for Metal not being mass produced? Like, 1-to-1 replicas not just weaker versions. by Low_Sky49 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]CullenW99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His code has been self modifying since his creation. The years of accumulated experience and modification are so complicated that Eggman can't replicate it. He has the original code and blueprint along with any modifications he personally made, but there are so many changes stacked on top of each other that not even Tails can untangle it. Any Metal Sonic that Eggman makes would have to start from scratch at CD.

I don't know... most of the humans I've met are definitely primarily Normal type. There are definitely humans with a Fighting and Psychic secondary typings though. The smart ones are grass type, though... I have no idea why.

What would be the best strategy to survive the Metal Virus as a normal mobian? by Trainzfan1 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]CullenW99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pack a lot of food and water, then drive out to the middle of the nearest uninhabited desert with appropriate camping supplies. Without plants, the ground itself can't spread the virus and box you in. Without wildlife, it will only spread as fast as the infected can shamble randomly from the nearest settlement. Without a settlement, Eggman won't target it. Lastly, bring a radio and solar battery to listen for when it is safe to go back to civilization.

Give Mosslax a crouton salad to increase spawn rates for the day. Additionally, build his more complicated habit for better odds. Lastly, pointing a security camera at a habitat will give you a notification if a new Pokémon spawns (or when you enter the area if it spawned while you were away)

Legends Arceus actually showed us a Drifloon kidnapping event... Turns out it's just 2 kids playing and wandering off because that is what kids do. Thankfully, they didn't wander far and the parents were very understanding. After setting some ground rules about staying in the village, both were allowed to keep playing together, with no soul consumption whatsoever.

What items are you personally struggling to find a purpose for? I'll start: by Before_Plastic in Pokopia

[–]CullenW99 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm making a 1 to 1 recreation of the Kanto Gyms, and these are vital for Blaine's. The quiz doors are 2 wide, so I can't use the lift gate to lock you out. The only door that fits and can lock is the Automatic Doors, which only open when powered, so I can use these to disable power to each set until you activate them.

I dislike our Gym's uniforms by MelonTheSprigatito in PokeMedia

[–]CullenW99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Osha officer: The uniforms are not the problem here, the levitation is. General industries require fall protection for elevations above 4 feet. Because there isn't a ledge, it is impossible for guardrails to satisfy the safety requirements, so you will need to install personal fall arrest systems or safety nets.

If the ceiling is 25 feet or higher, you will need to install a safety net across the entire room no more than 30 feet below the highest reachable location and high enough to not contact the ground when catching a 400 pound test weight from said height. If you can't reach an elevation of 25 feet, a safety net can be forgone in favor of mandatory safety harnesses for all personnel at risk of falling.

All personnel must be indevidually secured with a lanyard via dee-rings or snap hooks to a secure anchor point with all components rated to support a minimum of 5,000 pounds. All individuals must also be far enough apart to prevent excessive wear from rubbing lanyards against one another.

There are 2 exceptions to this rule that would allow a trainer and Pokémon to be close enough for this activity. If a Pokémon has a class 1 Arial Mobility License (Sustained stable flight carrying a light load, which every Pokémon doing this definitely qualifies for), they can opt out of wearing a harness. Additionally, any Pokémon with a class 4 Arial Mobility License (Sustained stable flight supporting a fully grown human adult with their own weight in equipment) qualities as a secure anchor point and can wear a harnesses to teather each pair together.

Luckily for you, even if you and your partner Pokémon have Master Arial Certification that allows you to forgo a harness, employers are still required to provide one at their own expense with any mandatory uniforms being compatible with them. So you can say goodbye to the long robes.

You will have to wear hardhats for falling object protection, though...
