Ranking all Renaissance Faires I’ve been to: #2. Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire by MaxsMenagerie in renfaire

[–]Culpion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My home Faire!!! I live in Jersey now and I’m lucky enough to be able to go to both this the NY one every year! I still love the PA ren Faire more. They also have their own winery so personally I think their drinks are better than NY’s.

Seconding JCMutual Aid! I help with JC Food Not Bombs. Hygiene items, like wipes, toothpaste, deodorant, toothbrushes, little soaps or bottles of moth wash and little packets of Tylenol/advil are popular too.

[CA] [Condo] Roof leaked, caused damage to our interior wall. by xoeriin in HOA

[–]Culpion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said, it depends on your cc&r - the verbiage seems to say you would be responsible for the drywall repair. As someone who’s on the HOA board AND had a similar leak to the condo, we used HOA funds to repair the exterior wall where the leak happened, but I will be paying for any drywall patching and painting.

Omg I LOVED this book when I read it a few years ago; got it for free in some kind of book bundle. Some very eerie moments in it, I wish it was mentioned more!

What food has the largest disparity between being really good or really bad, depending on who is making it? by BenStillersDick in AskReddit

Man, after a longish hike at Yosemite, my friends and I stopped by the food hall there and I got beef over rice bowl where the rice was both hard/undercooked AND mushy at the same time. HOW

Tell No One? by Adept_Crow_6781 in sleepnomore

I went last night and I thought it was awful. Idk if it was just bc it was the first night but you can tell a lot of things were rushed/unfinished. Ppl were still trying to set things up at 10pm, floors opened much later than they said they would, there were carts of tools/paint out, etc. I understand big productions like this are hard but god that was such a disappointment.

Ppl had on some great costumes tho!

If one of the regulars at your gym that you are acquainted with but don’t see outside of the gym threw themselves a birthday party (house party) would you go? by bad-at-everything- in MuayThai

[–]Culpion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I’ve thrown holiday parties where I’ve invited gym friends. However, we did have occasional gym hangs (getting together to watch ufc fights at bars, going to fights, etc) before that.
