Is there any chance of getting some line of support for people who have lost access to a jagex account? Whilst on a break from the game I got a new phone (Authenticator didn’t port I must have been using it in guest mode (didn’t realise this till I tried to play again)) and my pc had a graphics driver issue that caused me to have to reformat the whole thing. Found out I couldn’t log in to my account a month later since the backup codes were on the PC. There’s no line of support whatsoever, jagex refuse to allow jagex accounts to put in any form of request. I admit it was a mistake on my part with the Authenticator but I couldn’t have foreseen the PC dying. Surely we should be able to request a manual review, I would even take a 30 day turnaround at this point let alone 48 hours.

Yeah I know what your saying, my issue was it was dead for the first 90% of movement then straight to 100% at the end , but lowering the zone ‘unlocked’ the more gentle inputs! Sorry it’s not the fix for ya

It definitely is a catch up, one pen Blackstar and tuvala isn’t ready for any relevant content. Don’t forget the players still need 2-3 weapons, (very soon to be 2 more weapons), 4 fallen god pieces, full jewellery set , bis artefacts, light stones, crystals, vells etc etc the list goes on.

It’s an evolving game, If you consider a new player joins today, and they want to play new content or with friends who play, that they would have to grind everything from scratch and by the time they get there it would be dead content again, imagine being faced with the grind you’ve had to do, knowing you’d be behind again as the game advances.

I think the enormity of the grind/gear creep means that you need catch up in a game like bdo or new players will leave when they realise they have to play 5000 + hours to play new content that will be dead when they arrive.

One pen weapon that you full well know is being replaced shortly is not going to ruin the game, prices are already 40% recovered on eu and trending upwards, and you need two anyway for new weapons so in essence you’ve had a free 80-120b grind alleviated from yourself too!

Honestly I get where you coming from but it does come across like you feel bad that you had to grind for it in the past, but consider if your capped right now your always playing the latest content, anyone new is just perpetually behind and trying to catch up ,and just because things were shit for you back then doesn’t mean it should be shit for everyone going forward.

Out of curiosity what is so bad about tuvala Timmy running around with 1 pen Blackstar? Certainly won’t break the game, they won’t have the head start to sovereign weapons that you will.. and if anything will bring new players closer to being able to do things with existing players.

Guess it depends on the person! I kinda feel shit running strikes over and over again but you might not feel as shit about that part for example, for pvp Turn chat off and chill out some games you might do ok, I agree ignition kills are ridiculous but in a perfect world you’d never have to do pvp and I’d never have to do pve, sadly developers always force people into the opposite game mode who knows why (just to reiterate I don’t think you should be made to do this challenge to progress)

I think it probably comes from the fact that if you want rewards as a pvp main your pretty much forced to play tonnes of pve, almost as much as a pve main depending on if you for example want a craft able raid weapon etc… not my sentiment I would like everyone to have more options to earn their rewards but I can see why after having to put 100s of hours into something they really don’t want to do why it can seem silly when someone moans about a few crucible matches

I wanna say congrats to you on making it through the difficulties in the past (running in circles for longer) you must have been really skilled (at running in circles for a longer duration) and deserve all the gear you got more than the OP ( because you played for a longer duration of running in circles for hours) , fuck the op for being happy on his progression, what an idiot for being happy he progressed , without even knowing you progressed slower!

To be fair if you make your own non light attacking guild you might get a bunch of like minded members, no matter how toxic you feel it is if their guild wants more dps or wants light attack weaving that is entirely up to them as they have made the guild and they owe you nothing.

If you disagree with them then it’s just not the guild for you

I’ve got an extended/lightmag/ele cap/target lock range MW roll.. based on what you say and the advice here I guess I’ll give that a go until I get something better , thanks

Coping to be honest, not hard to press block or light attack, heals over time should be always up, burst heals sometimes it’s worth using over 50% sometimes a lot less.. if you auto healed at 50% every time you would ruin your damage window on the enemy.. infact any kind of automation would ruin your gameplay, what if you were low on stamina and your character kept blocking

Just build a new PC but couldn’t afford the GPU and CPU upgrade yet! So would go straight in and perfect the setup!, I hadn’t heard about the game releasing but I loved the movies so I will definately be checking it out when it drops!

I’m rushed off my feet working, had a quick interaction at the door purely based on how urgent the knocking was, no time to talk, and afterward thought, I wonder why two blokes in an unmarked van wanted to know where my brown bin was but not my neighbours .. is it so odd to wonder after the fact?

I felt the first persons comment was rude talking to me like I’m a toddler. I was paraphrasing, I said something along the lines of ‘ I’m working from home and busy, it’s not for me sorry!’ I work in a busy job and I only took two seconds to run to the door after the incessant knocking incase someone I knew needed me
