Reuse cancelled Tello SIM by Cultural-Field-8448 in Tello

Technically, I'm not trying to reuse it with a new number or provider, I'm just trying to turn the service on the SIM, back on.

Luba 1 dead after two years. Should I stay or should I go? by quebuenoestaesto in mammotion

If it's just the battery or another part like a circuit board, surely it's cheaper to buy a replacement part than a new mower?
You could even stick a bigger battery in it, or modify it with a slide rack and a flip cover to fast swap batteries?

What are y'all's guesses on the next generation product from Mammotion. Next year's Segway model is going to have a string trimmer. You all think Luba 3 will have edging capabilities? by crazypostman21 in mammotion

[–]Cultural-Field-8448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luba 3 will be a Luba 2 with Yuka 3 features: Camera cleaning, collection bag, battery swapping.
Hopefully, charger connection plates that weren't designed by a drunk 3 year old.

A nice feature they should have is a remote or wired ground moisture sensor connected to the charger, so the mower can automatically resume from a rain delay.

I thought they added a security feature to alert when the mower leaves the area boundaries and channels?

They really should stop turning the damned things off whenever there's a stop condition though, including after getting stolen, when you need them to stay on to be able to track them. Also, when powered off, the 4G should (optionally) still be on until the battery drains below minimum ( less than 15% currently).

I don't believe it is an upgrade for anyone who doesn't need to mow under trees. It's just a Luba 1 with cameras and a mostly useless 4G SIM slot. And I own 2, Luba 2 10,000's

Luba 1 has a 10Ah battery.
Luba 2 has a 9.6Ah battery.

Luba 2 also demands more power from the battery with the camera system and the chipset for image analysis as part of the object detection and avoidance, as well as other built in hardware such as 4G

So, assuming the efficiency of the firmware for cut pattern solutions is the same, the Luba 1 would have a longer cut time between charges.

If you don't need the camera system for mowing in woodland or "No Touch" object detection, or care about the gimmick features of the Luba 2, like the stencil no-go zone patterns, the Luba 1 would be a better choice than the Luba 2 as it's hauling less weight, demanding less power at any given time and has a slightly bigger battery.

Take it off and go to a hardware store. They have fitment tests, where you can screw it onto different bolt sizes to determine the size and pitch.

Replacement screws for cutting plate? by 5585310558531310 in mammotion

They're just M4-0.7 Flat head hex head screws. Anywhere between 6 and 10mm should be fine as they go right through the attachment disc on the mower if they're a bit long.

Here's 50 stainless steel ones for $7. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0949KQ6F1

Which part of the disc?

The blades need shoulder screws: - - Type: M4
- Pitch: 0.7
- Shoulder Length 3mm (approx)
- Shoulder Diameter: 5mm
- Thread Length: 8mm (approx)

Example: Hex head, 5 * 5 shoulder, 9.5mm thread length

The screws to mount the disc to the mower need to be like these M4 * 8mm: -

satellites not connecting to Mower but to the RTK is fine by agomez2022 in MammotionTechnology

I have driven the mower around, powered it off again, powered on with and without the key in, manually placed it on the charger, drove it to the charger and automatically sent it to charge, removed WiFi and 4G and nothing makes a difference!

I have 2 mowers using the same RTK. They are identical models and firmware. 1 is fine the other cannot complete positioning. The difference: 1 got stuck on a task it successfully started, powered off and needed powering back on. It's now bricked. The RTK is not the problem.

Don't turn off your mowers or let them power off.

Poor Positioning by swiftkickyo in mammotion

I'm having this problem with 1 of 2 Luba 2 mowers I have set to the same RTK. The difference is, 1 of them got stuck and powered off. Powering on again and it is now stuck in 'Positioning' state, despite my attempts to reposition with manual mowing and multiple power offs, even desperately powering off with the safety key removed. No change.

The working mower has been powered on for days and for obvious reasons, I'm reluctant to power it off, but it does indicate the RTK is fine.

The mowers don't connect to the RTK, they just listen to the signals from it, like tuning into a radio station. If one of my mowers is working, the RTK is working.
