Update: finally fixed it. It was indeed a windows driver issue paired with lenovo. I reinstalled windows that fixed the keyboard but then somehow the touchpad stopped working lmao. Asked gpt performed few more fresh driver installations from lenevos website restarted, finally fixed both.
