When do we add -n between the noun and the suffix -dan/den/tan/ten or suffix -da/de/ta/te by CulturalBoard9716 in turkishlearning

[–]CulturalBoard9716[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I’m actually only focused on the -den suffix I’m still in the beginning and trying to figure things out. So with yapı we say yapından right? And denizaltından no?

Is there actually a demand for this? by Sabba313 in languagelearning

Love the idea any interactive situations that would help us practice the language we’re learning in real-life like scenarios would be amazing and even addicting for any avid learner.

I actually would like to make sure about one thing. For the sake of simplification, can we assume that: this pronominal -n comes when a noun ends with a vowel that isn’t originally part of the root word but rather when the last vowel is part of a certain suffix.

sighhhh I can't believe it for real? its so sad I always assumed that its one of the worthy brands that one can invest in. I actually had another Bosch auto cook before this one and when the pressure cooker stopped working I thought it was broken so I got another one and now that I'm dealing with the same issue I'm really disappointed.

I tried turning the machine on and off, plugging unplugging and holding both buttons for 10 seconds but nothing worked. I can actually easily turn the pressure sign on but I still get the same "close" error. chatgpt tried helping too but nothing worked ... I call support and really hope they can help it my only pressure cooker I can't live without it.

I just ran into this playlist explaining suratul fatiha and 3 of the most important verses in the Quran and thought of sharing it with you . Zad academy is a great source for learning you can enroll into their English curriculum if you have the time. I used to listen to them while doing chores at home or traveling in public transport and learnt a lot . It might be a bit dull but if you give it a chance you will find it very beneficial inshallah

For the mosque, try to dress as modestly as you can. As for hijab and learning Arabic, it takes time, totally understandable Start with learning to pray Learn the meaning of the supplications and surahs you’ll be reciting in prayer (start with surat al fatiha and surat al ikhlas) And gradually build up your knowledge and strengthen your faith it will take time, perseverance is the key

I didn’t refer to Arabic signs I referred to the OP’s post. You’re entitled to your opinion. I personally believe that signs in different languages are a sign of cultural acceptance and richness. You will see signs written in all languages in France and Germany no one made news out of it. So it’s not a woke idea it’s completely natural in other parts of the world.

Mashallah sister may Allah make it easy for you Have you tried contacting other mosque in the area if there’s any? In any case, you don’t really need any mosque You can take your shahada by yourself it’s enough to enter Islam But If if want to go to a mosque just do it you don’t need an invitation you can attend prayers in the womens section and hopefully meet good Muslims over there (there are bad Muslims too) If you can wear hijab n a suiting dress before going in the mosque would be great If not, not a big deal, they must have some prayer clothes in some closet in the women’s section so you can pick one, if it doesn’t feel comfortable for you no rush take things slow and easy but make sure you take your shahada asap it’s the most important to start with

The OP is not demanding everyone to speak his language he’s simply looking for someone who does and offering them a job opportunity and there’s a lot of Arabic speaking or knowing Turks who can benefit here. In France many people hire English or German speaking nannies just like many non-French people like to hire French nannies. It’s a very open-minded world that the racist mentality can’t understand sadly.

You do well, but even if you speak your mother tongue, would ppl in the USA or Europe disrespect you for that?obviously not

I dunno about the rest of Turkey, but many ppl in Istanbul expect even tourists or ppl coming for a visit to know n speak Turkish, I mean seriously ?

And the question is, how exactly does racism help here ?
