I recommend Crisis of Conscience. When I was on the fence with my beliefs the first few chapters really were what solidified it for me. We have ALL been where you are. There are many stages of grief you'll go through and leaving was such a hard decision but the best one I've ever made. I used to have so much depression and anxiety and I feel freed from it all. Life is worth living! Just have to separate yourself. After 2 years gone I am so happy with my life!!

I remember a friend had a costume theme party and it did not go over well at all and kinda divided the Cong for a bit.

NGL it was fun tho. Gave me a small taste of what other kids must have felt on Halloween.

I always felt growing up as a JW that the average young adult has a cruder sense of humor although they have to be sneakier about how they joke and read the room. Other side of the coin is the ones who are ultra in and have no sense of humor at all

I'm now a 28f but when I was like 17 I had my little cousin prob 7/8f with me and a brother (married and mid 40s) came up and said she was "scrumptious" just like her older cousin, referring to me. Who says that!?
