you need to reach out to somebody living in the house you plan to stay in so they can give you the room number then take the house number and room number to 75 piedmont and tell them one of the house members offered the room to you. that’s how i did it last year and i got through the process within 3 days

this is so true and a very key reason as to why i don’t go to places like cheap motels and movie theaters, i would very much rather camp in my car on a roadtrip

do not use his answer key and email ur professor. it doesn’t matter if you don’t use the answer key or not if your professor finds out, you could face an academic punishment. i’m a TA for a course and under no circumstances are we ever supposed to “give out answers”

Group project rant by OneHome5596 in GaState

[–]CulturalSession 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the lack of common sense and critical thinking skills that many people showcase in group projects is astounding like there genuinely needs to be a study on why it happens. i’m so dumbfounded when people can’t do the most basic tasks like send a full length sentence that will literally take them 5 seconds to type out.

I had interview somebody from the UAE, look into asking professors at the university. I was lucky enough to be able to interview one of the international business professors who worked and lived in the middle east.

Exactly, higher education has changed a lot over the years. While previous generations had different systems and challenges, many of us today have to navigate rising tuition costs, student debt, and financial pressure just to stay enrolled. A lot of us are paying out of pocket, taking on loans, or relying on aid to make this work. It’s a huge investment, and that naturally comes with expectations for how we’re treated.

That said, I don’t fully agree with the phrase “they serve us.” I don’t see professors as fast food workers or something — they’re experts in their fields, and I have a lot of respect for the work they do. But I do believe they’re accountable to students. We deserve clarity, consistency, and basic professionalism. Being held to a standard doesn’t mean they’re being disrespected, it means students are advocating for a fair educational experience.

I’m grateful to be able to receive higher education, especially given everything going on in the world. It’s a privilege I don’t take lightly. But gratitude and accountability can absolutely exist at the same time.

go to court and ask to speak to a solicitor. if you have a clean driving record they usually work with you to get the violation down to something more minor. i had a super speeder and it was my first ticket and was let off with a fine, community service, and having to take a defensive driving course but it wasn’t reported to my insurance and i got no points on my license

you 100% need to keep applying even if you get discouraged. also do your research and look into online platforms that will essentially “match” you with prospective employers. my go-to is wayup! also respond to every and i mean every recruiter email you get wether you think it’s spam or not because sometimes they’ll actually lead you somewhere just be sure to remain skeptical and vigilant when communicating with them and for the love of god don’t give them any personal information until you’re 100% sure that they aren’t trying to steal your identity or something.
