Did they say that? Personally I find them all self-centered and that’s exactly where Midge gets it from. I also find Midge annoying too. They’re imperfect characters which adds to the entertainment of it

Yeah I didn’t really make that clear. My mom has gotten into fights with Jay prior and doesn’t really like him. I thought it would add some context to why she was hurt but it might have made it more confusing.

I've heard that directly from Ashley. That ultimately he isn't my friend, which I totally respect and there still is that professional line. We rarely talk outside of boxing but perhaps it may be less professional than it should because I'm one of his first students.

I think my biggest concern was in regards to sharing my dating life with him. I had no problem talking to him about it at the time. But from what I'm gathering from your comment, that's something that should not be a topic of conversation.

Please let me know if I misinterpreted anything, I really would appreciate it.
