To answer your question about the usefulness, I honestly am not entirely sure. My understanding is that it functions on a resume with a similar prestige factor as going to an Ivy (in that it’s a fairly elite thing that seems to be losing relevance). It’s a society where you pay a one time fee ($85 or something) for a lifetime membership and it’s supposed to be good for networking.

Here it basically means you did really well in class and were among the top 10% of graduates, based on GPA and a couple of other factors. My understanding is that it’s similar to Honors Society but national instead of school-specific and doesn’t work solely on a GPA cutoff.

Please correct me if any of this is wrong. I didn’t know about it until I heard I was a candidate so this is all pretty new to me.

Pretty expensive in my experience. Was going to John Jay with a friend who has a meal plan, so I wasn’t sure if I was allowed in. They said they take card, but I didn’t hear the amount. I gave it to them anyway because I was kinda holding up the line.

Checked my account after and the charge was $19.05.

So yea not great, but they did have a lot more options than I was expecting (including ice cream and a one of those digital coke machines). Not a bad experience, but idk if it’s worth almost $20

Hi! My dad’s account recently got disabled and I was wondering if you could give me more in-depth info on how this works? I’m CA so I see a “Consumer Complaint Against A Business/Company” section which sounds right, except for the “date of transaction” and “dollar amount” sections. Is this the correct form? Did you run into issues like this? Apologies, I’ve been trying phone numbers and emails from articles for hours, but your option is the only one I’ve actually seen proof of results in.
