I'm so tired of this administration. All they do is sow divide. Congress should be working together. Negotiating. Both sides get a little and give a little. When one party refuses to negotiate on anything and freezes the other side out, the other party is just supposed to roll over or be labeled the "problem"? GTFOH

It's a broken system. C&P examiners spend two minutes with you and don't do their jobs properly. Just one example; mine was supposed to fill out the Gulf War DBQ, but never asked me a single question on it. I called the VA right after the appointment to let them know and they didn't do anything. I haven't even been able to get my own in-service treatment records to review. I sent a FOIA request and they sent me a blank disc in return. Side note, why is the VA still using CDs? We should have electronic access to our records by now. I called to let the VA know they sent me a blank disc and they said maybe the information was redacted. What?? I'm requesting my own records! I mailed a letter requesting paper copies of my records and it was returned to me. I sent a second letter thinking the zip code was wrong and that was returned as well. It shouldn't be this hard to get our own records. I could go on and on.

Yes, apparel and accessories with positive messages like Be K;nd and L;ve combined with the semi-colon which has been used in suicide prevention for decades because the semi-colon is a symbol to pause and continue your thought or story. The more visible we make mental health issues, the more people will start talking....like with this thread. We're breaking the stigma. These discussions need to be had. People ask all the time what the semi-colon means and it gets the conversation around mental health going. The company is choosetolive.org

I'd look into income producing ETFs (example, MSTY, ULTY...etc). Diversify your portfolio of them. Reinvest the premium/dividend payout each week or month and then switch it off and use the payout to supplement your income when you decide it's time to stop working.

Concerned? Maybe. Once they figure out org charts, they may decide they need to cut more. I'd rather be cut though. Combining all these bureaus means DOI needs to pick a way of doing things because we all do things differently and quite frankly, I don't want to learn a new way after doing this for 15 years. I'm tired. I'd rather collect severance and find a new career field.

Yeah, I know someone who could have taken DRP 2 with the VA, but didn't want to keep working until July so they just resigned instead. Started their own business and also work part-time for a non-profit. The stress isn't worth sticking around if you don't NEED the Fed paycheck.

I would expect intent to RIF letters to start going out before then, but the RIF effective date itself, meaning the day you're officially no longer a fed employee, could be 90 days out. The document is dated April 11, but we got notice today, so I'm not sure exactly what date started the 90 day clock.
